Q: I have new granite counters, which have a very shiny surface. Will applying this sealer dull the shine? I don't want a matte finish.

Miracle sealants 511 should not dull your granite finish. I apply it every six months to both granite, ceramic, and sanded grout surfaces and find that it brightens the appearance and brings out the shine and depth of the grain of the stone. Just remember to follow the manufacturer's instructions and be sure to clean the granite before application.

Yes, 1 Quart will cover 750-1000sq. ft of Polish White Carrara Marble

The quart will cover approximately 125 - 1000 square feet depending upon type of surface to which it is being applied.

Q: Is this oil based product or water based?

I’ve searched for years for the sealant used in ancient floors , it was this one or one like it, oil based penetration into the stone reflecting more than that awful acrylic stuff manufacturers have b even pushing for years.. This product contains petroleum based oil! It works, my slate looks like water, no peeling just gradually fades over a year or more

Excellent Impregnating Sealant

Very good product.Got this to seal my slate floor.Easy to apply very natural finish and stops the slate flaking.In the bath area applied on the granite floor it works as a sealant and gives a subtle roughness to the surface making it less slippery.
