Fiskars Easy Action 8" Titanium Scissors - Stainless Steel Fabric and Mixed Media Scissors - Arts and Crafts - Orange/White

I like these scissors they cut real good and I keep them for my material. If you use them for other stuff, they might dull.

I'm a quiltmaker, and do a lot of fabric cutting. Some years ago, when arthritis made it painful for me to cut fabric with my (beloved) Gingher shears, I tried a pair of Fiskars "easy action" scissors. What a great find! The spring action opens the blades after every cut, greatly reducing the strain on my fingers and thumb. I'm a convert -- from the first time I tried them, I now almost exclusively use Fiskars...have several pairs. These latest are very sharp, and cut even multiple layers of fabric easily and cleanly. The handles are comfortable, and the safety catch is easy to operate one-handed. The bright white-and-orange handles make these scissors easier to find on my cluttered cutting table, too! I am very happy with these Fiskars scissors.

WOW!! These scissors are AWESOME! My husband bought these for me because lately my arthritis has been acting up. I am attending college and using scissors was very hard for me, I would usually have to ask my husband to cut things out for my college projects. He saw these and thought they would be great for me. Well, YES...they are great. They are light weight and easy to handle. They are VERY sharp and makes cutting very easy. I also like that these scissors or ambidextrous, meaning that you can use either hand when cutting stuff. I am ambidextrous myself and other scissors were very awkward for me to use with my left hand, if I was using a right handed scissor. Even the left handed scissors were awkward and didn't cut very well for me. I am happy to know that when one of my hands is sore from arthritis I can just use the other hand and go about my business and not bother my husband. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for Arthritis sufferers!!

I have several pairs of these scissors. They don't pinch the fingers and are so easy to use, feel great in the hand, and very sharp.

This design has been around for a while, works well, very good blades, easy to use with the full handgrip, gets into positions where conventional ones will not. Light duty so don't get carried away using both hands as we all do or you have to tighten the screw more than you would think, as it's a sheet metal screw in the plastic. A thread insert with a machine screw with a proper lock nut would give it 5 stars.

I had these scissors for over 25 years and finally the spring part was not working but for 25 years they lasted so I re-bought the same scissors and I loved them

Its more like 4.5 stars. I love these and they cut through basically anything. But the little plastic holder that keeps them closed isnt designed well and will eventually break. Minor inconvenience.

I use these scissors to cut felted wool fabric mostly. They cut through fabric like butter, nice and smooth. Very comfortable and effortless to use. Worth the investment considering Fiskars' lifetime warranty.
