I’ve been using this product for about four years. After researching I learned before I used it it takes about seven years to reach full of fact. I will say it does cut down on the dandelions immensely. I still get a few here and there but I know they are gradually getting less and less. The neighbors next to me her one giant dandelion lawn . The neighbors on the other side are chemical users which I don’t approve of because of pets. If you don’t want to use a chemical fertilizer and weed killer you could give this a try just be patient. It does take the full seven years to get the weeds gone. As I said, I’m in year number four. My grass loves it! It is super green and you can tell by looking at both sides of my neighbors I use something different that makes the grass happy! As far as value it is costly, but to me my pets are worth it

Live just north of New York City. Put this all over the lawn in early April. The lawn is now so thick and lush. And no signs of crabgrass yet. It is still early in the summer, and crabgrass tends to really grow in the hottest parts of summer. Will update this review if needed.

Three stars because I don’t know yet how it is going to work. We applied the fall fertilizer treatment today. Per the directions, we used a spreader, then watered the lawn as recommended. I’m writing this now because our dog immediately began picking out the granules from the lawn and eating them. The main ingredient in this product, corn gluten, is used in animal and pet foods. We understand that the other identified ingredients, urea and sulfate of potash, are not highly toxic but may cause gastrointestinal and other problems in dogs, depending on the amount ingested. Maybe it’s not as safe as the packaging states.

Great if you understand that it takes time. You will get much less crabgrass and dandelions but some still make their way through. I use it due to my dog laying on the grass all the time. I have used in 4 years in a row and will continue to.

Did nothing

As long as you time the application correctly, it works extremely well to control weeds. And I feel better knowing my kids and dog can enjoy the lawn.
