It offers great value, taste, and texture across the board. What really stands out to me is the impressive potassium to sodium ratio compared to other powders. A full serving packs 50g of protein, which is too much for me in one sitting, so I only take a half portion at a time. Even at half a serving, it mixes well and is a fantastic supplement to keep on hand.

Not chalky at all. I use with milk to get a creamier taste but still delicious with water. I don’t get bloated at all and am sensitive to bloating. Keeps me full and I feel like I’m cheating when I drink it when I’m craving something sweet. It is hard to shake up so I use a hand blender sometimes. I got the 5lb and I drink 1 -2 shakes a day and it’s lasted me a month and counting. I’ve tried a few powders and can say this is the only one I don’t mind drinking.

I’ve tried a lot of protein shakes and powders, and this one is actually really really good even with the full 2 scoops of powder. The chocolate tastes like a melting Wendy’s Frosty to me, and I don’t get that strong protein aftertaste. Even my 14 year old daughter tried it and liked it.

The chocolate protein isn't bad. It had great macros for its cost, never upset my stomach, and had a pretty good texture (it mixed well in room-temp or warm water and baked fairly well, but left a small amount of grit in ice cold water). The only reason I took off a star is for the flavor. I just couldn't get myself to like it, especially after tasting other chocolate proteins. I may try another flavor but would likely not come back to chocolate. It just isn't "the one" for me.

I love this stuff. I've been using it for years, and it is very consistent in flavor and consistency. The chocolate flavor is my favorite, followed by the vanilla, and the strawberry would be my least favorite. The vanilla and strawberry both have a little bit of a synthetic aroma and flavor to them. It can be slightly chalky/grainy in texture, but the chocolate flavor is great. I love mixing mine with cinnamon and PB2 powder as well, which makes it taste like a peanut butter cup. I also use it in baking. It tastes incredible when you mix in instant coffee. It's like a really nice mocha shake. I really like that it's packed with so many vitamins and minerals. The tub is made of super thick plastic, and they're great to reuse for other things, so that's an added bonus if you're conscious about recycling like I am.

Pretty decent protein. Good value for money. I like to mix it with milk, it doesn't taste very good with Water.

I’ve been using the Muscle Milk Pro Series Chocolate flavor for a while now, and I just made another repeat purchase because I’m still loving it! The taste is consistently smooth and delicious—rich, chocolatey, and not too overwhelming. Kind of tastes like cake batter/brownie mix when your mom used to call you to come lick the bowl. It’s my go-to for post-workout recovery since the 50g of protein helps me feel recharged and ready for the next session. It mixes well as long as you shake/blend it sufficiently. A serving is 2 heaping scoops. Add an equal amount of milk/water, and then shake. Because it contains a decent amount of casein protein, you'll need to add more milk/water once you shake it a bit as it absorbs the powder and thickens up. Shake/add until it's the consistency you want. You can't leave it and come back as it will clump up. It keeps me full for hours, making it perfect for a quick snack between meals, with no bloating, gas, etc. I’ve tried other protein shakes, but this one really stands out in both flavor and effectiveness. Definitely sticking with it! I use 2% milk in mine so I get a serving of dairy and calcium. Add in some Creatine and you've got a great pre-workout shake (1-2 hrs before your workout).

I am having the same problem as other bad reviews with getting the powder to break down in the drink. It turns to a thick mess with dry powder chunks in it. I have even tried to use only 1 scoop in 12 oz of water and also tried with 12 oz of milk, and Ive tried mixing with both spoons and a hand mixer, just can’t get it to mix in properly like my other protein powders do. I dont even want it now, but i feel bad having to throw it out what a waste of money. I would stick to their liquid shakes, but it looks like they discontinued the knockout chocolate flavor so maybe not…
