If you follow the instructions then it’s not too salty and for a sauce I just use salad dressing and this was really good

I was really curious to try sea grapes after seeing videos of people eating them—they looked super crunchy and fun to eat. Preparation was easy, and the packaging seemed fine, but the taste was a letdown.I expected a light, ocean-like flavor, but instead, it reminded me of river mud—like taking a mouthful while swimming. The texture wasn’t as crunchy as I had hoped either. I love seaweed, jellyfish salad, and most seafood, so I thought I’d enjoy this too, but it just didn’t work for me.I wouldn’t recommend the packaged version. Maybe fresh sea grapes at the beach are a different experience, but this one was disappointing.

Alone, NO this isn’t tasty. It’s in a brine that is quite salty and soapy tasting. Definitely wash for a few minutes TWICE in cold water to remove brine. Maybe even a third time. And they still won’t be delicious alone, although tolerable flavor. It’s the pop that makes these delicious. So put soy sauce and wasabi on them (like you do with sushi). Seafood cocktail sauce. Even plain lemon juice is good for a low salt alternative. The first order had a small package of 1000 island dressing. It’s too sweet for me normally so haven’t tried it but I will try it when I get more of this delivered (expecting an order soon). What ever strong flavor that you enjoy. Trust me. The pop is so satisfying you can’t get enough!Also, I can’t eat a whole package, so I take 1/2 out and leave the rest in the package clipped and standing up in the refrigerator so it won’t leak until the next day. Seems to work quite well. Just don’t lose your brine! Ok that’s a lie. I CAN eat a whole package, I just don’t normally. ;)Trust me, the 100% pure Northern European white girl from USA. GET THIS. And no I’m not paid. I wish I was!

Taste: the taste of it is absolutely horrible. It has the flavor of what my saliva tastes like when I wake up. I'm not gonna lie, I spit out my saliva in the morning.Quantity: ABSOLUTELY dog. They the stingiest you'll find. There are TWO servings per pack. One serving is less than one cup. Are you kidding me? This is premium pricing for one cup. Honestly, I struggled to finish one serving because it tastes so bad. So, it doesn't even matter.Price: Don't get me started...Recommendation: If you got money, instead of buying this maybe go donate it to a homeless person. Sure, you may not know what they're going to do with the money. But whatever it is you'll generate more happiness for them than the happiness you'll get from this absolute dog product.

While I did not care for the flavor, it was interesting watching the sea grapes rehydrate. They do pop in your mouth but no real flavor in my opinion. They would make a beautiful edible garnish on a sushi plate or other dish. They are very pretty and translucent.

They have a faint sea taste but they are very mild. The texture is the same burst as caviar.I don’t know if the price is fair or not you get 2 small packets but they get much larger as they soak. We rinsed then soaked in cold water for 10 minutes then switched to ice water for a few minutes and that seemed perfect.
