Unveiled at Last: Discover God's Hidden Message from Genesis to Revelation (out of print) Paperback – September 1, 1996

I haven't finished reading this book yet and may come back and change my review but I doubt it. So far I have read aloud to my 13 and 15 yo the first and 2ed chapter. You have to understand that they do not like to read or to take the time to be read to. They have always been homeschooled and at this point in their life they feel that they know just about everything they need to and it is just a matter of time before I realize this and let them go to college so that they can get a job and move out. I am exaggerating a bit but not much they really don't want to do any school work. So when I started reading this as part of  Teaching with God's heart for the world  I was not really expecting them to want to sit through it. I did insist though and they were very interested. Each chapter started with a story in which you feel you are sitting with a missionary and then goes on the explain how God was working and how we should continue to pray. I highly recommend this for parents and teens alike.

I love this book. Even bought the updated version. Most of the main points are the same, but the mission stories are different which make both books fun to read. But, the main topic of the book is what's really important and it has drastically changed the way I read the Bible, the way I see things, what I ask for, and even how to live. I love now more than any fancy vacation I've ever been on is to serve monthly to any cross culture people group, whether they are across the border or across the Antlantic. Revealing His glory is the direct link to our greatest joy! I like how in this version he has a list of the bottom line verses, even though some I don't quite get. But the new version is also well done with other gems.

Mission workers, pastors, church leaders and Christians---give this a read and get ready for your faith to be challenged and your worldview to shift in a way you've never imagined. I've read it twice and may pick it up again. Pastors if you need a faith boost check this book out.

This book is absolutely amazing!It really shows us how God’s view of the world is Global, and is beyond our own little world!

From my experiences growing up Christian, Missions was never talked about. I heard about Christ's love through the gospel, but this book really puts into perspective the bigger picture. The larger perspective penetrates all of history and culminates at the end of time where people from "every" ethnic group are giving glory to God. The books makes its case by extensively citing the Bible. It opened my eyes to verses and passages that I never quite understood before. It changed my perspective from seeing missions as one part of the Christian life as to driving motivation for all ministries. As I pondered the concepts more and wrote papers on the subject, I realized that fullness of God's love for me to a greater depth. Read it for yourself.
