This is a well-made, shell-style carrying case designed specifically for the Epson V19 II and other Epson V-series scanners. While the overall size is closer to that of a slim laptop bag, the interior is precisely molded to match the scanner, so it fits securely with no unwanted movement. The rigid shell feels solid and highly protective. Even if the case is accidentally bumped or something is placed on top of it, the scanner’s lid and internal components are well protected. Although it is purpose-built for the scanner, the size also makes it practical for carrying a laptop together with an AC adapter, cables, or other small accessories when needed. Overall, this is an excellent choice if you are looking for a sturdy, well-designed carrying case made specifically for Epson V-series scanners, while still being versatile enough for other uses.

This is nice. It's a pretty snug fit, but that's probably for the best. A sloppy fit might keep the case from protecting the unit well. If you smooth out the ribbon and set the scanner on top of it, removal is pretty easy. I've found for me, the best scanner orientation for easy zipping is positioning the scanner so the logo lines up with the area *above * the interior pocket on the lid. However, I have arthritic, clumsy hands. That may not be the best strategy for those that don't. I still thought it was worth noting in this review. The inner pocket is handy storage for the USB cable. When I first saw this, I thought it was a bit expensive, because I'm on a fixed income. However, it's better quality than I expected. The zippers feel reliable. I'm glad I decided to purchase it. Around $30 is reasonable. I recommend it, especially for those that won't be able to just leave the scanner sitting on a desk or table full time. If you have to put the scanner away after using it, this is a good value.

This case is awesome! I got it for my Epson Perfection V39 II scanned and it's perfect. It allows me to easily take my scanner with me providing protection and ease of use. It fits perfectly and exceeds my expectations.

It was hard to fit at first but is getting easier

It fits the scanner perfectly!! It's incredibly durable. I drove cross country to my dad's house to scan in some old family photos for the family. California to Michigan and back. Its easy to use, functions well and looks great! Not a bit of space wasted. Love it!
