Excellent bit of kit, worked a treat on my 2004 Mercedes CLK200 Kompressor, some features didn't work but my intention was to view fault codes and erase them, which I managed to do with ease. Comes in a nice box with good instructions too, although I'd say this tool is easy for anyone to use. Great buy, really happy with it, saved me a few quid taking it to the garage 🎩🚙

This car has been in limp mode after going into audi for a recall. This was cheap and if it didn't work i wasn't worried. I can tell you it did work and worked brilliantly, very easy to use. Plug and play. On erasing the code is comes back saying unable to erase but it actually does erase the code. The reason I erased a code was to push the car to do a regeneration which it wasn't doing in limp. After a run down to Cornwall and back carbwas perfect again.

Having been in something of a panic over a Bank Holiday weekend when spurious fault readings came up on my C3's dash - which I was sure were false as the vehicle had only full service a couple of weeks previously - I needed to sort them out asap. I saw this particular item and thought it would be a lot better than a nervous wait and a charge of £50 - £60 by my Citroen garage. The item was delivered next day (excellent service) and I nervously connected the device to my car and followed the procedure in the manual. Like a previous purchaser of this item I initially got the impression from the display that the fault codes had not been cleared, so went through the process again. After disconnecting the scanner and turning on the ignition all the spurious fault readings had gone and the car operated normally with no faults popping up again. It is now several days since I carried out the process and everything continues to function normally. It has well paid for itself, saving me a good amount of money - and worry.

This is an easy-to-use device; plug it in and you're away. No fiddling about with blutooth or wifi on your phone etc. like the dongles. It does read the codes, but in my limited experience, does not erase them and offers no reason why it doesn't. This is disappointing, and seems to be a common theme on the reviews, as people buy these things to reset transient/temporay faults. I only paid £15 for this, so can't expect too much, but I think it should not be marketed as being able to clear codes if so many people find it does not. Others have said it has a nice and long cable - the cable on mine is only 2ft long so in my opinion this doesn't come within the "nice and long" bracket (i.e. it is unusable for a passenger while the car is in motion) so if this is important to you, double check with the vendor.

I really like this diagnosis machine. Unlike others I have owned, This one connects straightaway to my vehicle and any codes will come up very quickly and be erased with ease. I keep this in my vehicle all the time, It notified me of an issue with my vehicle in clear simple wording . I managed to clear my engine management symbol and fixed my car without having to spend uneccessary huge amounts of money at local garages

I bought this because I had an engine light on my car that I wanted to check first before I took it for repair , this was really easy to use and within a few minutes I had the code and was able to search the cause of the problem . After realising it was not a big issue I was even able to clear the code from my car to make the engine light go away! This has saved me time and money instead of going to a garage to have it checked and at this price I would definitely recommend

I have tried it with three of the cars and it really showed the codes for the light properly and for those with no codes it did not show any codes. I was trying to buy a car and kept trying with all the cars that I see to know if there are any hidden codes and all. It was really helpful. My suggestion is to provide updates and improved connectivity for other models and upgrade the product if possible there is an option to register for warranty but it doesnot work and even no response from the product manufacturer for enquiry with regards to the same.
