I don't use a countersink often, but when I do it is important that the bit works cleanly. This one fits the bill - hands down. Quality made and a good value; I would buy this brand for tooling again.

I don't know what those other guys are doing...
First off, this bit is not good for wood. Also it is not really for free-handing with a drill. I use a small drill press into medium steel and have done well over 500 plunges with just one bit. It can get hot and overheat but you can either wait or use cutting fluid. I just used two and swapped them after about 100 plunges to avoid overheating. For medium steel with a drill press these bits work fantastically.

not like they used to be
I've been using these for the last few years, and they were awesome until this last year. I was wondering if I just got a few bad ones but now I'm sure quality has definitely changed. I'll be looking for another option
