Does not smell
I didn’t expect socks to make this much of a difference, but these merino wool ankle socks genuinely changed how my feet feel during long days. From the minute I put them on, they felt soft and cushioned without being bulky. What stood out to me most is how well they manage moisture—after hours of wearing them in shoes and boots, my feet still felt dry and comfortable, not overheated or sweaty. They also don’t hold odor the way regular socks do. Even after a full day of use, they still felt fresh. The fit stays secure—no slipping, no bunching, and no annoying seams rubbing against my toes. They have a slightly thicker feel than normal athletic socks, but that’s what gives them the comfort and padding. Overall, these feel like premium socks made for people who actually need performance, not just basic coverage. They cost more than regular cotton socks, but after wearing them, I can say they’re worth it for the comfort alone—and the durability makes it feel like a good investment. What I liked: Keeps feet dry and odor-free naturally Soft but supportive cushioning Comfortable for all-day wear in any footwear What to know: Thicker than basic socks (in a good way) Best for performance use, not thin dress shoes

Merino wool socks
These socks are made of 90% merino wool and 10% Lycra. They don't feel much like typical merino wool to the touch, yet they excel at absorbing moisture and sweat, and are incredibly comfortable. Truly a great pair of socks.

Wish I had known about these sooner!
WOW! I had my doubts when I ordered these but now am Sooooo glad I did! Lightweight yet sturdy construction and they don't feel all scratchy like regular sheep's wool. These are the perfect socks for my summer attire, helping to keep my feet cool and dry! I'm 65 years young. Wish I had known about these sooner!

The Size Large Is Too Small, even for a size 9.5 foot. They do tend to do PIck Up Debris
The Size Large Is Too Narrow On the leg, restricting circulation, so I returned and got the XL--even though my foot is 9.5. These feel very nice. A sensation of floating on my skin, with moisture wicking breathability that is very apparent. My feet feel cool and dry in them. But be careful as they do pill easily and attract debris like a magnet. One reason I prefer the grey, rather than black; the pill & lint are less noticeable. Never wear to bed, especially if you have flannel sheets. Don't walk with them on carpet. I suggest when you take off your shoes, remove the socks and place them somewhere they will stay debris free. I only hand wash these, which helps prevent pilling, and never machine dry them. Hang dry but they take time to dry.

These are my summer wool sock “keepers”.
I own a lot of these, and they are my default three-season socks (not winter). They are thin, but I don’t want thick socks if it’s not cold. I have small feet (size 6 women's/size 4 men’s or kids), and these fit true to size. They are soft enough for me. I have had some of mine for a year. (I machine wash these socks in a netted laundry bag in cold water, and hang them to dry.) I haven’t had any holes yet. I think they are comfortable and let me still wear wool socks in summer. Honestly, wool makes such a difference to my feet. I am much more comfortable with other materials use to buy. To me, wool is so worth it and a lot more comfortable in wool socks.

Liked them so much I re-ordered, but the new ones are a bit itchy.
I purchased these a couple years back, loved them and have worn small holes at the ends of toes because I wear them so much. They really do help with any foot odor which is nice when camping especially. All was great until I put them on and sadly, they itch. I even went and put my old ones on to make sure I wasn't going crazy. I'm not sure if somethings changed, but I think the feel is more rough now. I went back to compare the percentage of wool, and they are both 90%. If you are not too sensitive, they are wonderful socks. They do pill, but I find most merino pills so that isn't an issue with me. I think if you order a lighter color than the grey (their grey is basically black), the pills won't show up as much.

Cautiously optimistic that these are going to be great socks
I tried this on a morning run in South Florida, about 70° and significant humidity. Oddly, my hands were feeling a bit sweaty as I got into the run, but my feet didn’t. I got home, remove the socks and checked my feet. They were fairly dry. The socks seemed to be a good weight, maybe a little on the thicker side, but that probably helps them wear better. They have some cushioning around the toe and heel, which feels like nice reinforcement for areas of high wear. After I cleaned up from the run, I pulled out another pair and put those babies on. My feet felt really good. I’ll check back and update this review once I put some more mileage on them to see how they do long-term.

Very good value - 90% Merino Wool hard to find!
Rarely leave reviews but IMO, these socks are AWESOME. 3 pairs for $15 can't be beat. It's insane how hard it is to find decent socks these days-- most are either polyester garbage 6 packs for $15 which fall apart immediately, or premium brands gouging you for $20 for a single pair. These RZTATs are in that middle pricing sweet spot at $5/pair. The most impressive thing is these RZTATs are *90%* Merino Wool. Look at some of the other big brands (Darn Tough etc) and their merino wool content has declined-- they used to be 65%, now many styles are only 45-50% merino. This RZTAT manufacturer can afford this I imagine because these socks are not full crew length, and the socks are indeed fairly thin-- but they are not as thin as, say, stockings (as one reviewer claimed). So less overall material costs. But merino wool is far superior to cotton/polyester as a fabric, and 90% merino is one of the highest percentages I could find anywhere. The 10% nylon gives them the perfect amoutn of elasticity (and nylon >> polyester). These should be great wearing with casual sneakers in the summertime, working out etc. I actually bought a pair of Darn Toughs (Darn Tough Light Hiker Micro Crew, only 43% merino!) socks along with these. The Darn Toughs are also this "thin wool" style as well, but are full crew length. The Dts cost $21 for one pair. Honestly, these RZTATs are more comfortable-- the Darn Toughs (size Large) are quite tight, almost like compression socks, though still better than typical polyester garbage of course. The one advantage the DTs have is they do have a little padding under the balls and heel, these are unpadded. But if you're wearing with comfy sneakers that's irrelevant IMO. I'm a size 10 Mens shoe, the Large RZTAT socks fit me perfectly, not too tight, not too loose. I only wish they made this exact style in a crew/quarter crew length. The extra materials costs might push them up to $8/pair or something. But I'd gladly stock up on them. In the meantime, I'll probably buy another pack of these quarter/ankle socks.

Warm, Lightweight, and Very Comfortable
These merino wool socks are incredibly comfortable and feel great from the moment you put them on. The material is soft, breathable, and does an excellent job wicking moisture, making them perfect for workouts or daily wear. The cushioning is just right—not too thick, not too thin—and they stay in place without slipping. The quality feels premium, and they wash well too.

Very comfortable and warm
Socks are comfortable and warm. Can hardly feel the toe seam. Wish they have crew-sock length for business wear.

Super warm
No regrets. Thick winter socks that keep my feet warm in cold temperatures.

Don’t last because they are very thin
These socks are comfortable but don’t last much longer than the 30 day return window. Won’t buy again.
