Great size for a Green Cheek Conure.
Update** 06/25/23 I have had these for a while, I have 3 birds now and my two green cheeks travel together and my black headed caique travels solo in the second one I purchased. These really are the best. I enjoy them and the birds love it. I love all the things I mentioned before about it and going into retail stores like Target is a synch with the privacy options. I constantly get asked where I purchased these. While I don't plan on doing international traveling, I can definitely say in the Florida weather these are the best you can get! My green cheeks can easily get back to the perch as my caique girl can. It's breathable and no wear on any of these. Granted my birds aren't chewers but these have held up since September 22 which was my second purchase. If we get another bird it will definitely be another one of these. I do think it still go's without saying, let any soft carrier air out for 2 days before use regardless of what you purchase. Original Post: I like that it is spacious. I like that it has the messenger strap to use as a seat belt. It is a little big but it's comfortable to wear. I like that the mesh seems strong enough for my well behaved conure. It could hold two but I will probably buy a second one for my newer conure. But if you have a bonded pair they can fit comfortably. I would put paper towels on the bottom. They still give you a liner but if water spills it smells a little between poop, food and water in the hot summer is not great smell. I also want to point out to let this air out for a few days before letting your bird in. There was a smell to it and I wasn't jazzed about that. But once it aired out it is the best bird carrier/diaper bag.

Perfect for Mr. Pickles !!
Really like this backpack, very comfortable for me to wear and perfect for Mr. Pickles, my green cheek pineapple conure companion :-) Love the following: Comfortable / easy to “assemble “ / aesthetically pleasing / lightweight/ perfect size for conure / LOVE the flaps over the mesh sections that are easily tied back & able to be secured if not using / collapsible for travel / perch sits securely/ pockets not bulky / all snap closures are magnetic/ multiple carrying options Would change/add the following: Odd smell after opening… I assembled and let air out for a few days / Seed cup is too big to not droop, I just sit it in the bottom instead of attaching if I want to use it / Would add option to tie back the front mesh section completely if you want to leave open, I tuck under carrying strap for now Overall - perfect for us, great buy and will buy again if my current needs replacing. Oh, and isn’t Mr. Pickles adorable? 😄

Great, but with minor issues.
We are picking up a conure this weekend and I'm so glad this arrived much earlier than expected! Pros: - great overall design - seems comfortable when worn as a backpack - love all the different pockets & ways it can open -love the setup versatility -love that it came with all things included -love that you can wear it off the shoulder -love that it's easy to clean! Cons: -the stench of materials is quite horrible. I put an air purifier in there last night and today I'm leaving it outside so that it doesn't smell bad when I pick up my bird -the toy included is not safe. It's not the one in the picture. While double-checking it for safety, the color started peeling off. Additionally it includes multiple keychains and other pieces that my bird can get it's beak stuck in. -the perch has a lot more branches sticking out then shown in the picture. Also, they are not sanded down to the perch. There are so many so close together, that I'm going to have to wrap it with something else, because I do not want my bird to have an uncomfortable 7 hour + trip this weekend. Might be okay for short trips, but for for the long haul, I can only imagine that it would be very uncomfortable and potentially dangerous on the road. - there were metal shards sticking out of the set up for the cups. I had to use pliers to remove them. Overall, I'm super excited about the purchase however the issues I found significantly degrade the quality I was expecting. UPDATE: I had to wipe the inside of the backpack with a moist towelette in order to remove the odor. We had our bird with us for a day prior to the trip, during which the backpack was introduced. During the trip, she didn't want to stand on the perch while the vehicle was motion. We ended up holding her most of the way home. Since we will not be using the backpack till this summer, I decided to place the perch in her cage. She's obsessed with it. I'm returning a star because of that.

Best small parrot bag
Breathable, safe, nice perch and bowls , place a small tray in the bottom with some soft cushy things for them to cuddle up too. Maybe a safe toy to chew on or snack around like a bell or some chewable wood, or a spinner. Toss in some pellets and take your bird with you anywhere for a quick trip or if you need to keep him somewhere close by in a mobile situation for several hours it could work as well. Double & triple check the zippers stay closed, never had an issue but I like to keep all the flaps open for air flow and to allow them to see.

As advertised & with accurate reviews!
First, let me address the "chemical smell" everyone keeps commenting on. It is the typical smell you get from any new backpack, tent or plastic duffel bag. It airs out quickly and is no harm to the birds. With that said, this carrier is well made and as advertised. It's easy to assemble. Easy to clean. And holds up well so far up against a chewer. My yellow naped Amazon fits comfortably with the perch toward the front. He took to it pretty quickly. Also the perch is a tad small for large birds but i contribute that to the people that complained about it being too big for their "small birds"... .... right?.... but he's ok with it. If i was to find anything not to like it would be the screws they supply to attach the bowls. They should have an allen head with a tool supplied. But that's easily fixed at home. It's a good buy in my opinion.

I recommend it
It is perfect! My Indian ringneck loves it. Even my gcc prefers this one over his own bird carrier. The backpack is good quality, and it comes with everything you need- sturdy perch, food & water cups, colorful toy, and side bags for food or extra things. All the zippers work, it’s thick and looks very sturdy. My bird loves chewing everything so I’m glad there’s an option to hang two bird toys. I’m happy with this purchase. Even the packaging is great, it comes in a large reusable ziplock bag. you won’t regret this travel backpack.

!!!Sharp hole punch in the food bowls!!!
It was alarming to see and feel the punched holes in both feeding bowls. There is rust and the metal shavings are sharp. It’s hard to believe that anyone would think that this is appropriate for an animal of any kind. The food bowls are useless and considering the price for the carrier, one would and should expect a safer product.

Love this backpack! But kind of flimsy
Firstly... this backpack is awesome. I was reluctant because of the reviews song it had foul or chemical odor.. so that was the first thing I checked. It smells new.. but not bad. Maybe it was something they rectified at the company after complaints? I dunno but it reminded me of a new beach ball smell. This is very well put together. Stitching all looks good, comes with a potty mat, bird toy, x2 feeding dishes; perch, and strap for over the shoulder carry. Most importantly.. my Bubbers has head room while perched and he even gave me an approving "click" when I put him in to check it out. We had a bubble style backpack but there was no room for a perch and I always worried about him overheating in it or if he had enough air. No worries now. Unfortunately they didn't make this out of bird strength materials. Just from my bird climbing up the front of it he made holes in the screen. I may try to reinforce it with actual pet screen from the hardware... sadly this is not safe if your animal can easily escape.
