Cooper and Gracie Dog and Cat Cream for Itchy, Sore Skin with SPF 50, 100ml

If I could give this cream 10 stars I would! I have a bichon cross shih tzu and he turns 9 years old on 14th June 2025. Until 6 months ago he was always totally healthy. But now he suffers with skin problems and constant ear infections. He’s been to vets many many times and it has cost a considerable fortune. The vet has just told me that he needs to have an injection every four weeks for life. I do not agree and financially cannot afford an expensive injection every four weeks forever. So I got this cream in my bid to ease his skin. The cream is actually amazing, it has the appearance and consistency of Vaseline. I put it on and within half an hour the bright red skin turns to a very pale pink which is his normal skin tone. I also bought the shampoo and it is also very effective. He used to not like me putting the cream on but after putting it on a couple of times he loves it. I can totally recommend this cream. It’s gentle and kind to the skin and does restore skin to it’s natural condition. He has this on most days and loves it. Since buying this I have also changed his food and treats to hypoallergenic. Also as of yesterday I have started him on prebiotics, coconut oil, omega 3,6,9. He has puptons treats for his waterworks. I have changed his water fountain from plastic to stainless steel and I’ve stopped using Dettol laundry cleanser on his bedding when I wash it. Also I’ve changed his conditioner to oatmeal “buddy care” I refuse to accept that he needs an injection for life. The vets these days seem only to be concerned with making money. At no point have my vets even suggested testing him for his allergies and it was me that approached them about changing his food etc. They are happy to make money treating the symptoms and don’t treat the cause.

My girls wrinkles have always been an issue. At times weepy, and just really dark. To be fair I had never really seen her wrinkles under her eyes fully clear, and used many different products on the market but none would work for my girl. If anything many creams etc made it worse. I initially purchased the hemp spray for her leg, and then bought this cream. I started using it on the problem areas around her eyes, just the tiniest amount. Gave it time to absorb and then wiped the area gently to dry off any excess. I did this every morning or at least once a day and honestly her wrinkles have completely de stained and are cleeeeeean! She gets bits stuck building up over night but now i just wipe it with a little warm water and dry it. The cream is applied from time to time and i do believe it helped! She had her leg amputated a few weeks back. I actually applied this cream to the area above where she got an abscess, and a seroma. I feel it helped to clear it up quickly along with het antibiotics from vets of course. I continued to use this around her incision a few days before her stitches were looking good to come out and think it helped to get it looking like it is today! This cream to me is a miracle cream, the natural ingredients helped me girl so much and a little goes such a long way! I also apply it to her nose as it gets quite dry, it has cleared up quite alot. Deffo something to keep amongst your supplies for your pets. I love this stuff!!: Thank you.

My dog came out in rash... cleared it within a week. Brilliant product the only downfall is its a small tub.

I'm so pleased that I came accross this product whilst browsing for something else entirely ! My little Yorkie...17 yrs old and sadly has cancer now... came back from a grooming session about a year ago and couple of weeks afterwards I noticed she was developing some dry flakey patches ...rather like baby cradle cap but brownish in colour. My vet suggested just soaking the patches with warm water and combing out the loose debris. Having tried this method it left little open sores all over her body. So having tried numerous other methods to no improvement I chanced upon this absolutely amazing product and having used for the last few days I...and my pooch ...are well impressed with the results . She actually loves having it applied ...maybe because the aroma is just divine and doesn't sting at all . Go on ...give it a try !!

Still persevering with this cream, but not really seeing a difference. I use it under my dachshunds armpits as they tend to get a bit irritated. The good thing about this product is it doesn’t seem to sting or bother my dog.

I used this after hibiwash treatment to stop the itching of a hotspot outbreak on my rottie and it helped clear the hotspot quickly.really impressed with this product

Life changing for our border collie. Got this to put on skin irritation from where vet shaved his leg and put in an IV line during an emergency animal hospital visit. It worked wonders on the irritation. Our dog clearly enjoyed the relief as every few hours he'd go sit in a specific spot near the cupboard, and hold up his irritated leg until we put the cream on. Never seen anything like it. Decided to try it when we saw an early hot-spot forming, 2 days later it was gone. Few weeks later he cut his paw pad on something while out for a walk. We cleaned the cut, popped this on and again, our collie 'asked' for it every few hours. Healed in no time. Now we keep a tub at home and in the pet kit in the car just in case, and use it for any skin irritation or injury.

We have tried so many things with buddy. Ear drops medi wipes cream with tea tree, vets suggested cream and ointments. Buddy would run as soon as pot or drops were open he hated the lot, and I must admit some were very strong smelling and use to dry his skin making cracking weeping and scabbing happen and then he wouldn't even allow you to pet him anywear near his ears. This only came in the post 2 days so, so one application and I just knew it was gonna work. Buddy stayed curious not scared as I opened cream he sniffed it first but didn't run away, next I went to hold him to apply but he didn't struggle he just sat there, I let go and continued to apply, he just seemed soothed by it and was happy for me to massage his ears. We went out in the sunshine his most favourite thing to do lay in garden watching world go by. His ears were greasy you could see he had something on him, but not once did he rub itch or shake head when he got hot. I checked ears when we came to go in, his ears still remained with a barrier on them. We went to bed buddy didn't wake us once like he usually does with his collar rattling frantically as he was having a go at his ears he slept well. Next day we reapplied same time, his ears cool, scabs had came off and his ears looking back to almost normal colour, in second application its a wonderful stuff it may be greasy but it protects moisturises and soothes. I hate having to right reviews for everything I buy and so sometimes I just don't, but with this I just had to say how great it is and I think I can safely say Buddy does too, even put a little on a bite that was on his nose and he just sat and had it put on . Fabulous can't recommend enough to anyone who has a dog with big ears who itches them constantly.
