These dishwasher tabs work great. Dishes come out clean without any spots. But you don't need to use a whole tablet for each wash. Cut the tablets in half, which doubles the amount of tabs.

Recommended by Miele technician. He also recommended cutting them in half because we only need half. I cut them all in half so each side has blue and white parts of tablet and I get 120 uses.This is a bit tedious and I just cut thru 3 of the coating sides leaving the two halves attached to keep tablets from breaking up prior to use. I also find it's easier to slip the half tab out of the dissolvable coating into dispenser. But don't do this with wet hands!I store my split tablets in a clear plastic container and can see when I need to order another box. Cutting them in half gives me much more value for my money and allows me to afford manufacturer cleaning product. It also puts the price comparable to name brand tablet cost per use.The dissolvable tablet packaging is compostable so I put that in my compost bag instead of leaving it in dishwasher which (like most dissolvable coatings) can make your 'clean filter' warning come on more often. I have not had any problems with my Miele dishwasher cleaning my dishes with half of a tablet.I will continue to order these and cut them in half. Am grateful to technician who recommended doing this.

Have owned a Miele dishwasher for years & only use these dishwasher tabs. Dishes come out squeaky clean & absolutely no filmy residue on glasses or anything else. Although recommended for Miele, these tabs can be used with any brand. Yes, they are more expensive, but they will not contribute to reduced efficiency of the dishwasher or negative environmental impact of dishwasher pods.

So I Love our Miele dishwasher and understand that using the brand formulated products is important for longterm upkeep but the smell of the original formulation of the UltraTabs is way Too Strong. Frankly it was to the point of triggering my asthma! This Eco version of the UltraTabs cleans just as fabulously but doesn’t make me have to run to turn on the kitchen vent when the dishwasher cracks open during the drying cycle! It is for these reason that I give the product 5 stars.And now for the honest “Cons”…these tabs are unfortunately a bit more expensive for this non-scented formulation and like many other dishwasher detergents on the market, they seem to be causing erosion issues with all of our Viking 3-ply steel pans’ aluminum cores. That said, it is very important to acknowledge that this is an industry wide issue for modern dishwashers and cleaning agents in general so as much as it sucks, handwashing pans is the needs to be the new normal for us.

I have been purchasing these for over a year now and they work really well. No residue left behind. I wish they were cheaper but I do have a high end dishwasher so I guess the price is what should be expected.

My white dishes are white again. Like not having to use a separate "rinse" agent. Don't know if these would work in a non-Miele appliance.
