I bought this as I recently got a new iPad which has the new type charging cable which I could no longer sync it with my MacBook. I also recently got a new android phone which was a free upgrade from my network provider and although it has the new type cable, it didn’t have a plug with it. This adapter works well for both items. I can use it to adapt a usb type plug and also sync my iPad. Very good value for money,

Impressed with this quality adapter Many cables nowadays are USB-C connector on both sides, while the chargers and some old devices still using usb A port. Then you will need this adapter to convert a type c cable to a normal one. I buy this adapter for my phone. This tiny USB c female to USB male adapter is exactly what I am looking for. It solved my problem perfectly. I tried it on power bank and USB A port in the car. Although this adapter do not support fast-charging as it described but it works great. I also plugged it on my laptop to sync photos and files from phone, data transferring is stable and fast. They are so compact and portable. I can keep them connected on my cable, laptop and bring to everywhere, like using the car charger and USB A port in some public area.

I hadn't upgraded my iPhone for 6 years and once I settled on the iPhone 12 I realised that the change in USB-C to lightning cable meant that I would not be able to plug my new phone into my Mac Book Pro (2014 model) in order to transfer my old phone data and backup it up. The 3 x Syntech USB-C adaptors are perfect and a colour and design that fits the Apple brand. Now I can use one for my Mac book, one for my charger port in my office and one for my car so that I can charge whenever and wherever I choose and back up my iPhone when needed. Great product and very very reasonably priced for 3 items.

The problem with computers is simply trying to keep up with the changes in their connections. Having adaptors for the most common connectors saves money when trying out equipment. It must be recognised that adaptors can't always give the advantages that the new connection type might offer (for example, USB -B compared to USB-C) but as a quick fix when there is a mismatch of connector these are fine. I am not sure why they are sold in a pack of 3 - maybe their size causes them to be lost quite quickly???

This product is well made with a great finish, however it fits very tightly in the usb-a port. Arguably too tightly. After inserting then removing from a port on my motherboard it ripped out the plastic divider from the half of the port. This left the contact pins exposed and if I plugged anything into this port it would cause my computer to crash. After bending the contacts back and managing to slide the plastic divider back on, it works but this adapter needs to remain in the port so I have essentially traded a usb-a port for a usb-c port on my motherboard which is much better than it could have been. Just be careful when removing it.

These USB C to USB A converters are fantastic. It gets the job done. My uses for the three in the pack: 1) I use it with my MagSafe charger daily to charge my iPhone. No issues so far. I have it plugged into a QC 3.0 USB A slot. 2) I leave one plugged into a portable battery with only a USB A slot. That way I can use any USB C to lightning charger. 3) I keep one in my USB power bar at home, so I can charge my Apple Watch USB C plugged in. Much cheaper than buying another Apple adapter.
