Beowulf: The Graphic Novel (Hardcover) Hardcover – December 1, 2007

I enjoyed this illustrated version of the epic poem. It was easy to follow and the graphics were very professional and stunning. I wish the Kindle version had been in color.

This is epic, it follows along with the real Beowulf epic almost exactly. I even passed a quiz in my World Lit. Class by reading this one morning before I went to class XD Totally recommend this to anyone having to read Beowulf who isn't really a big reader. Might find this a lot easier to follow.

Having recently listened to an Audible version of Beowulf, I was pleased to find another graphic novel adaptation of the epic. Far better than any film adaptation, so far.

Bought to use in the classroom and it's AWESOME!!! Will definitely look into other books by this company.

It's in black and white which is ok. It loosely follows the epic. Some of the finer nuances of Beowulf's culture are lost, and the costuming is not completely accurate. Still, it sticks closer to the epic's plot than the cg movie of '07.

I recently read Beowulf for my English class and enjoyed the story and the messages it entailed. This graphic novel provided an even better story flow and added a visual aspect that enhanced the story even more
