DO NOT BUY COVERTS WC CAMERAS
Seller was easy to work with ad stands behind the product. Unfortunately the Covert WC cameras have become Chinese junk products. I bought 5 of these due to the price reduction. 2 work but only after Feradyne sent me one of their SDHC cards. Finding another card that is compatible is difficult. The marketing/instructions say the camera will use any SD card size up to 32 Gigs (page 9 in the WC-V instruction manual). Camera will not function with most readily available SDHC cards.Feradyne sent me an e-mail that said, "Please make sure you are using a standard SD card (it will say SDHC on the card) ranging from 8-32GB of storage that is a class 10, as these are compatible with our cameras. Thank you! Please do not use any cards that say performance, platinum, extreme, tough, HD, plus, elite, ultra, pro, ultra plus, high definition, HD, Image Mate, Edge, ect as these types of SD cards do not work well with our devices and will cause it to malfunction and not work properly (any high performance/speed card or a card too large or small)". The 'don't use' cards are easy to find and cheap. Their card is about $20.00. But you will most likely end up ordering it from Covert.Don't get me wrong, Feradyne support communication has been stellar...but 3 of the 5 NEW WC-V 32 MEG cameras I have are simply not working. The two that are working...well picture quality is not great and one of the cameras will not 'time-stamp the photo with the correct time". How this is possible I don't know because you do not set the time on the camera. Time is set by the network. I will update as to what Feradyne does to fix the issues with the 3 NON-WORKING CAMERAS.

Suitably impressed
The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the IR camera is woefully lacking. Can't see anything in the dark unless it's less than 10 feet away. I use these for security on my storage yard. The motion notifications work well (sometimes too well, got a crow that keeps setting one of the them off every morning). Battery operated, still at 100% after weeks of being on, super clear images, especially in 34 MP mode, video is good (daytime only) and the connection to the cell tower and the notifications via text are awesome! For the price, these really do get the job done. I'm adding lights to the yard that should dramatically improve its nighttime performance. For the price I don't think you can do any better.

Great signal.
We struggle getting a signal where we live, even on our iPhones. Other cellular cameras were unable to get a signal. This one gets a great signal!!! Pictures are great, and app features are great. Very happy with this purchase.

Couldn't get connected to Verizon
Overall pictures look good. Never could get the unit to connect to the Verizon network even though I know signal is strong in hhe area. Unit wasn't seeing signal. I work in the wireless industry and understand it well. I can't imagine anyone having much luck with the Unit.

Great camera for areas with poor cell coverage.
We have hunting camp in northern Michigan that has poor cell coverage and have tried numerous cell cams which were all a fail. Decided to try the Covert and to my surprise we have 80% signal. The service is Verizon on this cam. Camera is working great and just ordered another.

Camera immediately returned to manufacturer
The camera came to me as a "Used In Great Condition" stating original packaging and minor cosmetic damage. I had to purchase a Verizon plan before it would even function, or even let me test it out. After testing it, I could tell it had an internal electrical short that would not let it work. That may be why it was returned the first time, or second, or third, or fourth. I wanted to stop the vicious cycle of passing the troubled unit to the next un-suspecting Amazon Prime Member. I feel if I would have returned it as it was, in beautiful cosmetic shape, it would have been passed on to the next un-suspecting Amazon Prime Member. I sent it back to the factory on my own dime. ($35). And I have spent $20 on a recurring monthly Verizon bill I may NEVER USE. Now I wait to see If it can be returned in working condition. But, I did save $17, by buying it from Amazon, in used-GREAT condition, on my purchase price. But.........I did save other Amazon Prime Members the trouble of having to go through this themselves, by handling the problem with the camera myself. I only hope for a quick turn-around from the manufacturer. This is a review of the camera itself and no reflection on the delivery service, delivery person, online retailer, warehouse personnel, or fulfilment center. I may or may not be able to use a $100 Amazon credit for my trouble anyway.Update: 11/28/2020. They sent me a brand new unit within a week. It seems to work well. There is a feature to remotely trigger a real time photo. It costs $.03 to do it. I send the command occasionally. I always get a response of a successful request. I rarely get a photo returned.I get pictures to my phone of no apparent object. Once I got the tail end of a deer. I am trying to dial in sensitivity. I wish Covert had a better interactive site to help users with set up and function. When SD card is collected, you get a better idea of what happened and more useful pictures. The useful remote information of what is going on at a given time of day is lacking.

Do not buy if you live in Canada
Not sure why they sell this on Canadian Amazon. But the cell carrier it uses will not work with Canadian cell towers.
