How is this a '6 cup' coffee maker?
It would be nice if they had included a definition of what they define a 'cup' as.I thought it would be a standard size, like the cups you use for cooking and measuring.Even a picture next to a human hand would have been helpful.I wouldnt have bought this item If I knew how small it was.Edit:Upon further review they define the size of an espresso cup differently, which is why I changed my rating.I could just as easily delete this whole review and start over, but I decided to leave it up because it might be helpful to someone else.

Benecasa...A toy reproduction of a formerly superior product.
Benecasa...what happened to the original? My former and first Benecasa was made of heavier material and the lower chamber was larger and I enjoyed using it for many years with no problems. Also, the base was imprinted with the Benecasa name and there were numbers stamped inside of the flip-top cover...this particular Benecasa has no markings anywhere; which leads me to suspect it is being manufactured by a new entity who is making a lower-quality product. Although It still makes good espresso, I feel as though I am handling a "toy reproduction" of a former superior product and I am disappointed.

Works as advertised
Needed a decent cup of Cuban coffee... in Missouri... just what I wanted! Works great! This is a stove top espresso pot. Great for Cuban coffee. Not a camp pot for America coffee!

Easy to use, nice coffee
If you're not willing to spend hundreds of dollars on a pressurized espresso maker, consider one of these stove-top models. You can make espresso for several people at once. The coffee is not quite as good as from a super-expensive machine, but is far superior, in my opinion, to that which I've had from any espresso maker for under $200.You do have to be careful to watch it. If you forget it on the stove, the rubber seals will be ruined, and are annoying to replace.

quality...
Well I use to have one of those in another country, I could not find one here, so decided to look on amazon and great I found it so cheap, but I dont like the coffee maker quality at all, I think is not good, Im still using it because I love coffee and I like drink avery day, but Im not very happy with the coffee maker, anyways it was on time, and very cheap too (this case I preferred to pay a little bit more).

Don't waste your money on the over-priced Bialetti
Bene Casa's 6-cup "cafetera," as they call these units in Spain, is an excellent substitute for the WAY over-priced Bialetti. Clearly some folks like the "charm" of being able to say that their "cafetera" was manufacture in Italy instead of China (wher Bene Casa's unit is made), but if the quality of the unit is equivalent, is it worth paying $20 extra for the name? I do not. This is all aluminum, just like Bialetti's, and all three disassembling parts join flawlessly. The espresso made is the same as that by Bialetti's and other "cafeteras." So, unless you have money to burn, buy the Bene Casa brand and you'll enjoy a quality unit that produces the same excellent espresso. Now, if I can only find a 12-cup unit by Bene Casa...

The espresso maker, leaks, but there's a solution
I purchased this product because my other espresso maker that I had used for many years began to leak; so I went on Amazon to find a replacement and purchased the Bene Casa; the price was fair so what the heck; when I used it on its first brew, it leaked and continues to leak every time I make a new brew. What I learned, however, is that you can purchase on Amazon, replacement gaskets for less money for the espresso maker rather than purchasing a new espresso maker. Only problem was I had discarded the old espresso maker a few days earlier. The other observation is that the Bene Casa is a lot lighter in weight than my previous espresso maker, and the pour spout is shorter; and for some reason, when I make a brew, not all of the heated water in the bottom cavity of the maker filters upward into the upper cavity.

Disappointing
I have used a similar product with much much better output and lesser price than this one. In this product you need to use extra filter coffee paper to filter out the coffee grains out of your espresso. There are way too much coffee grain that leaks to the final topmost container.

Worth Buying
Wish the handle was made from a better material

Misleading description of product
It hardly makes two regular cups, just about fills my large coffee mug. Much, much smaller than what I was led to believe by the 6 cup claim. I already had another coffee maker of this size, needed a bigger one. Well, lesson learnt. No more online purchase of things that do not have detailed description. Request to Amazon: pls insist on description of products that includes dimensions and measures.
