I really enjoy this series.

There were some creases in the book spine that kind of annoyed me. But everything else is okay.

One of the most great opening light novel series in 2020! must read.

This arc in the anime was possibly the least engaging of all, but the depth of feeling and the build up to the as yet far away conclusion really hit hard in written form. A great adaptation to English with a few nice nods to Japanese words and phrases to keep students of the language on our toes. Arigatou gosaimasu.

This second volume of the rascal series is as good as the first , it was a lot of fun and although we don't see much of Mai in this volume I really like the relationship between her and Sakuta , she is very dominant but sweet at the same time.Very easy and fun reading.

The book series not only better explain some of the concepts of the show, but it builds up the quick-witted and dry humour we've come to love. You can clearly follow along with the story of the books much like the episodes of the show and picture many scenes visually as you read. Personally, I recommend these books for the additions that couldn't fit in the short runtime of the show. Characters are more fleshed out, there are more scenes that didn't make the anime, thoughts are better portrayed, and without spoiling much, the foreshadowing is much heavier, leading to large realisations further in the series. This is the third book in the series and I suggest buying them all and reading them in order.
