This is a great makeup mirror! It magnifies 10x totally without distortion. (Great for grooming eyebrows!) I particularly like the swivel base. I was at first a bit apprehensive that I might break the ball joint off as I tried to swivel it upward, as it was stiff at first. But that is actually as it should be since you would not want it to flop down. It seems very sturdy and I am pleased to report it stands well on a level surface such as a counter or table without using the suction base. If I had one suggestion it would be for some sort of widely based cap over the suction mechanism so that I felt doubly secure. Space is at a premium and I never intended for it to remain in sight on the counter. However I do find the bubble wrap pack around the mirror, along with the box, to provide protection for storage in my cabinet.The light encircling the mirror is nicely bright. It changes to 'warm light' with the touch of a small circle on the mirror itself. There is a power switch on the top of the round frame, at the front. Easy to use.I looked at various mirrors before deciding upon this brand and I believe I made my best choice. I am definitely pleased. The company has emailed me twice to check my satisfaction with the mirror. That is unusually good follow up. I can recommend this mirror.

Mirror is versatile and works nicely. Good lighting. Good magnification. Very helpful for eye makeup application and contact lense application and removal. Batteries do wear out quickly in this mirror, so you will need to keep a supply on hand.

I ordered this as a gift for my mum, with her eyesight failing, she needed a mirror like this that magnifies and has the light up feature.It was a great price and arrived very quickly and well packagedMy only advice to buyers and the Manufacturer is regarding the sucker on the base, meant to adhere to most surfaces, for some reason it has a small tab on it and myself and my mum thought it meant that had to be removed so for some time we tried removing it.Thankfully we were unsuccessful as we would've damaged it, no idea why that small tab is there as it was very misleading.Otherwise a great buy from a highly recommended seller.Elizabeth Hair

I like the functionality of the mirror and it was nice while it lasted. It did fall a few times, regardless of how clean the surface was, and eventually lead to the mirror completely breaking apart beyond repair. It also drains batteries fast and has no auto shut-off. Will look elsewhere for a replacement.

The media could not be loaded. This 10x magnifying mirror is PERFECT for my teens! I need a stronger magnification (30x) for my aging eyes, but it works VERY well for them!The suction cup is SECURE & STRONG! You have to hold the base in place & then twist it to lock the suction base. We have lots of people in & out of our bathroom all day, so we secure the mirror whether if it is on the counter or on our medicine chest mirror.The light is a good amount for those with younger eyes or mild corrective lenses. It is okay for me as well with older eyes, but when I compared it to my 30x mirror, I realized that I do indeed need the 30x mirror. My teens asked if they could keep the mirror instead of me returning it, so I decided to let them have it.They LOVE it & for them, I WOULD purchase this mirror again!

I've had several of these mirrors--square, square with the gooseneck, and this round one. I have left a few in hotel rooms and some, like the square mirror on the left finally broke, but only after providing lots of satisfaction. This round mirror is different and BETTER because the bracket is mounted near the side/bottom, not in the center. When the mount is folded down for packing, it hangs over the edge of the mirror. Black box on left vs white box on right shows how much less space it takes in a suitcase--2-5/8" high vs 3-1/4". I have seen square mirrors with the mount off-centered. But make sure you get one off-centered if you are going to travel with it. I wouldn't recommend any with larger than 10X magnification as you must be right next to the mirror to focus. When hotel lighting is bad, I have mounted the mirror on an exterior window and put my make-up on using exterior daylight. Love these.
