Used this for my turbo bypass valve, no issues with sticking, can’t say for longevity but I used this for many other applications at my work

A must have for older cars
I have several older vehicles and this helps with keeping the rubber from cracking and makes it easier to put hoses and clamps back together. Just a little dab will do you.

Great lubricant for rubber items
I bought this for my Toyota Avalon door seal rubber. They were sticking when dirty and this seems to fit the bill to keep them from that. recommended

Works amazing. Clear and thick lube for almost anything mechanical.
Clear colour, neutral odor, easy cleanup, lasting lubrication without breaking down, heat tolerant, good squeeze bottle. Its thick of course so don't expect to drip it into a small cavity. Perfect lube for many different things. I always keep it in my tool bag. Also offers a bit of weather protection for semi-exposed parts. Nice to put over a little of auto bushings. Inside bearings I would use a dedicated bearing grease. And on auto brake pats I use a specialized silicone lube for ultra high temp use. But the sil-glyde would probably work ok for all those things too.

Used this product on replacement ceramic brake pads with shims. Prior to its use, my brakes were squealing like a stuck pig. Made sure to lube both sides of the shim as well as the guide pins/springs. Brake noise is not noticeable but only time will tell. So far so good.
