Exactly as listed!
We are using these to start seeds for our hydroponics system. These starting pellets are great. The ones at our local home improvement store do not have the netting and will fall apart; the netting on these is great. We were also impressed at their size and that they stood up straight.

Exactly as advertised, but lacking in nutrients to sustain growth
This is the first time I ever tried coir pellets so I have no frame of reference other than in comparison to peat pellets, so if you've had success with coir in the past, these might be perfect.I am trying to start mainly tomatoes and chili peppers. I planted about 100 plants in peat pellets and they took off. I had no issues with growth rates or germination. I ran out of peat pellets so I started my second batch in these coir because I had heard peppers have issues with root rot and coir was supposed to eliminate that.I was initially thrilled with my purchase. They soak up so much water and seem to stay moist. However, after a few days the top would almost look as if it was baked in an oven. Maybe I'm underwatering because you want to with peat, but it seemed as if the pellets would feel moist then just go from wet to dry without much warning. It's a definite learning curve coming from peat. Seems like you almost need to water daily and just keep them water logged to avoid the tops from drying out and killing your seedlings. However I will say even with daily watering the coir it never resulted in root rot.Once they actually start growing their true leaves is when I noticed the major difference in growth rate between the peat and coir. The ones in coir just don't seem to take off beyond a few inches while the ones in peat never really stopped growing. Theres just nothing in the loosely packed coir to sustain growth. If you have success with coir or are dead set on max sustainability, these are exactly as advertised. However, if you've had success with peat in the past and are looking for something cheaper, I'd just stick with the peat.

Perfect to get seedlings started.
Great value and so far, I’ve had a 100% success rate with the 10 pods that I’ve used to germinate.

I didn't get what I paid for.
45 of my seed pods were very small so I'm disappointed. I hope that the company can fix this problem.
