Purchased this for a daughter that enters beauty pageants. We had been carrying in several outfits, pairs of shoes and makeup by hand to events so I decided to buy a portable cloths rack to use. After some research I settled on this one because other reviews were good and because it had the bottom shelf which I needed to sit shoes and makeup cases on. I assembled it in about 5 minutes without looking at the instructions. I love that I can break it down into several smaller pieces quickly for transporting to and from pageants and the 4 swivel castors make it really easy to maneuver. It does have a little warble as I assembled it because I left the center cross rod out to allow me to hang long dresses and gowns on it. I believe that it would be really sturdy if you put that piece in but even without it it held 4 long beaded outfits while I rolled them across a parking lot and through an auditorium without any problems. This is a good product and a great value for the price.

I like that the assembly is basic and easy. Some fasteners for the tubing are like the spring-loaded “bump-in-hole” type used on the old metal vacuum cleaner pipe sections. The rest of the fasteners are simple screws that easily thread into the mating pipes - and an Allen tool is included. The casters are nice and good size (large). The nuts provided to secure them (with washers) are not precisely matched to tightly fit the flat spanner wrench provided - but you can make it work. If you want to use your own it might go faster - but it is only 4. The assembled unit is light, easily moved, and not at all bad for its pricepoint. It is very functional. If you want heavy duty and more heft - you will pay 3x this cost. We just needed a way to store our hangers and some garments in the laundry area during clothes washing day. This is perfect.

First just let me say I am NOT mechanically inclined. Every time I attempt to assemble something I have parts left over. However, putting this clothing rack together was so easy. I love it and I am planning to order more. Because I have a lot of clothes and I have to go back into the office, so I need to find outfits easily. This rack has helped me organize my clothing.

We have the Honey Can Do 'industrial" clothing rack and I wish I had just waited until it came back in stock instead of ordering this one. There's nothing "wrong" with this one. It serves its purpose. My dad had to come and live with us so I had to give up my closet. My long dresses and business casual clothes needed a heavy duty, tall clothing rack though. This rack is not tall. Assembled, the bar for hanging clothes is only about 5'6-ish. The heavier duty one we already had is around 6 foot tall with a shelf on top and the bottom; and that's what I needed. So I just put my husband's clothes on this shorter one and my longer clothes on the tall one. I also don't feel confident that this would not tip over if too much weight were on the hanging rack. To stabilize it, there's a small shoe shelf and I set a heavy plastic bin on top of it to stabilize this. For the money, it's ok. It just depends on what you're hanging on it. Heavy sweaters, coats, etc. - no. Lightweight shirts and a few pair of pants - yes. It was very easy and quick to put together, as most of it just clicks into place. So, it's fine but for the money I wish I had waited on the heavy duty one to come in stock.

I have a small closet. I ordered this to accommodate my sweaters. It's pretty good. I'm in my 70s and put it together myself. I comes with all the necessary hardware and has a few extra. I could use one more adjustable height section. There is one shelving on the bottom. But overall it's good. I recommend it.

Firm and sturdy. Second rail is useful, as is the base. Wheels are big and transports smoothly.
