I bought this battery for my HP Spectre x360, and it has worked out really well. Installation was straightforward, and the battery fit perfectly without any alignment issues. So far, so good in dell G3. Didn't include the cable on the battery (used to those coming with the battery from doing repairs on laptops in the past), but it was easily taken from the old battery. Currently in the discharge/recharge cycle, but new life in an old laptop. No issues with size or compatibility.

UPDATE - Messaged seller & was shipped a new battery. Arrived in 2 days. As an Amazon seller myself I appreciate good service like I provide MY customers. I added 2 stars back. 2nd Opening of the laptop was MUCH easier than the 1st. Old battery had a swollen cell which caused all kinds of issues with computer from mouse not working to machine not turning on even when plugged in. Installed new one. Everything works fine. We will see how long this one lasts. - UPDATED REVIEW - After 6 months this battery is KAPUT. Didnt even get a year out of it. A battery should last WAY LONGER than that. So, NO , I would NOT recommend this battery. I will have to replace my battery once again, which they have turned into a complete PIA by installing them internally. What a pain int he butt. I will be looking elsewhere. Update: they will be sending a replacement. No hassle. No return of old one . Just a pain opening computer & damage it causes by doing so. Small crack from last one. PIA. Wish they would go back to external batteries. Truly a pain.

The battery installation was easy and it's been working great for about a month now. The dimensions appear to be identical to the OEM and everything aligned properly. It retains a charge much better than the older battery it replaced, which is to be expected. The price is right and the little included screwdrivers are surprisingly good quality. Make sure your laptop is completely powered off and not in hibernation before the installation process begins!

Installed the battery, charged for six hours - indicator light indicated full charge. Started PC, battery reported at 100%. Left it on for about 1 1/2 hours, during this entire time the battery status reported 100% charged until the PC died. Charged for 3 hours - the PC will not start. I assume the battery is defective and will not charge, and the PC is most likely fried also. It is not difficult to replace a laptop battery; the difficulty is in getting a good replacement, which this one apparently is not. No help from the vendor. I will attempt to return it for a refund. I assume the $2000 laptop is fried. * 3/16 update: I returned the battery and was issued a refund by Amazon. I bought another battery, which I installed successfully; the PC is now operating normally. This company sent me a message that included some debugging suggestions. I read the information they have posted previously (there is no way to contact them directly) before returning the battery in the first place.

Bought a used Rog and couldn't deal with the battery life. After this upgrade I usually get anywhere from 2-3hrs on performance mode.

Choosing a replacement battery is basically a crap-shoot. Ratings like mine are initially published based upon out of the box performance, not long term durability. The battery is shipped with tools that aid in the installation. The case spreader is particularly useful and appreciated. I have replaced the battery and hard drive before, so opening the laptop case was no mystery. There are wonderfully helpful "how-to" videos online to guide the novice. I discharged the battery and charged it up quickly. It seems to be running normally. The HP battery diagnostic gave it a clean bill of health. The real test will be how the battery is doing after a year / eighteen months. The last one (different vendor) failed in less than two years, I hope this one lasts.
