What do the blinking lights indicate?

I have not noticed that any of the lights blink. Next time I use I will try to notice if lights blink. Be sure that the plug is plugged all the way into the pot as if loose it could cause the lights to blink.

Why are pieces of yellow plastic parts in the lid deteriorating and crubling, despite only purified water used, and manual pump not functioning

This has happened to me. I came to Amazon to find replacement rings but no luck. I am going to have to dig up the manual and try to call the company directly. I have had mine for the same amount of time as you. It should have lasted longer. It would be a shame if a new machine would need to be bought in this case...
