Base seems to be dissolving
This plant is very full and looks nice in the tank. It came from China, so it took awhile to get to me. I cleaned the tank recently and removed the plants and noticed that the base is made of some sort of clay and after being in the tank, it was soft and a layer rubbed off when I ran my finger over it. I rinsed it under the faucet and kept rubbing until nothing more came off, but I think it will probably be the same way next time I remove it from the tank. Fish seem to be fine (fancy goldfish). I probably would not buy this again, even though he price was very attractive and it looks nice.
