I believe this is a new scent from Lagerfeld for 2020, and is described by the company as 'woody aromatic'.It's reasonably priced for a premium brand, and has a real feel of Spring about it (Summer also - but this isn't a 'crackling-logs-and-cedarwood' kind of scent, so I'd stick to the two lighter seasons of the year with this one.)Its first impression is of citrus fruit - lime especially - so avoiding that 'lemon-scented hand wipe' odour that can mar less well-made lemony fragrances. The citus has a spicy background to it, even in the first instance - basil and pepper are definitely large parts of the mix.Now, many people have commented, in the various fragrance websites and blogs, that there is a rhubarb component to this scent in what are known as the middle notes. I truly didn't get that at all. To me the lime, basil and pepper mix gives way (after a while) straight to musk and velvet, but kept fresh by a woody undercurrent.The fragrance is in no sense overpowering - it's fresh and clean, lasts for a good 5-6 hours, but had slowly faded away by evening when applied after shaving in the morning. It's definitely a light scent and, as I say, a good choice for Spring (especially) and Summer (secondarily).The bottle is quite 'squat' - it's only abut 9cm high, but the box shows the designer-origin of the fragrance and would be very suitable to give as a gift - I think especially to a young person looking to establish a premium scent as their 'own'.The price is very good indeed for a premium-tier product (though the bottle I have is only 60ml).So, to the final criterion for me - is it noticed by those I'd hope to notice it, and do they like it? And, I have a 'yes' on both of those.Overall - a good, clean fresh fragrance for sunny Spring days. Excellent.

This is a very light and subtle Eau de Toilette, and perfect for everyday use. The scent, to me, is very citrusssy with hints of juniper and mint and spice. In fact, it smells quite a lot like a really good gin and tonic on a hot day, or at least the idea of one, with a crisp and clear scent. It's definitely a 'summer' scent, so the 'New York' marketing blurb is a bit at odds - it's more Biarritz than Brooklyn.This is an EDT that you can wear everyday, as it's not heavy and cloying, and it certainly isn't one of those scents that makes you think of cigars and whiskey and dark smokey rooms. This is more a hot sunny day, just back from the beach kind of smell. It's quite subtle and you'll forget you have it on after a few minutes, but that makes it ideal for everyday use. You know you're not going to be that obnoxious guy overwhelming everyone within a 20metre radius with his cologne.Packaging reflects the scent, with a nice box design. It's simple and classy, and so is the bottle with a sort of 1950's chemistry lab look. The glass and the stopper are really heavy and solid, and it feels and looks masculine without trying too hard. This is a look for someone who is confident in themselves and doesn't need to over compensate.I'm really pleased to have come across this EDT, and I can see myself buying more when this bottle runs out. Reacting to different fragrance is such a personal and subjective thing and it probably helps the reader of this review to know I am a man who likes masculine scents to be quite subtle and not overpowering. Bearing this in mind, I found this Karl Lagerfield number to be really attractive and enjoyable to wear. It is firmly based in a foundation of citrus which gives freshness and warmth to the fragrance. It is difficult to pick out all of the elements in the mix although there is the sharpness of rhubarb and orange in the blend not a million miles from Aqua di Gio in impact . It is the kind of fragrance which works equally well for a night out or for work. The packaging is fairly simple with clean simple graphics on the box and a rather cheap looking label on the small, rounded bottle. I am not sure whether the scent evokes New York-it seems rather closer to the Riviera than Manhattan to me. Another positive feature is that despite this being eau de toilette the fragrances lasts well. You only get 60ml but at this price this is a very good buy which comes highly recommended.

I ordered this not realising it was 'Pour Homme' for men and decided my boyfriend could have it when it arrived. When I opened it however I loved it, its not a strong masculine scent so I definitely think it can be unisex. I decided to keep it for myself but he still uses it.The scent is citrusy but not overpowering, its very fresh smelling and smells very much like Dolce & Gabanna light blue which is why I liked it so much. It seems to last long enough, not as long as some of my other perfumes but for the price it lasts reasonably well just not as potent. The box and bottle are both nice, the bottle is simple but I think more expensive looking since its simple and elegant.I would definitely buy this again, its a lot different to most men's fragrances that I've smelled so I think it makes a good change and is a good price for anyone who wants a new fresh scent.

I gave this scent to my husband for him to try. He was really happy with it as it wasn't overpowering and was light and citrusy.The only downside for me was the packaging, which I'd want to be a bit better if I was planning to give this for a gift; it really is very basic and the fact that it's white with little embellishment doesn't help!

excelente presentación! en cuanto al aroma es muy fresco con notas citricas ideal para el dia sobre todo, la fijación en piel no es tan duradera, pero nada que un retoque no ayude. En conclusión lo recomiendo sin problema
