Good price, great pliers for precious metal work
Well made pliers with replaceable non-marring jaw covers. One replacement set included. Great for working with materials like gold or plated metal without risking damage to the finish or plating. Good and strong if you are bending metal for jewelry or related work. Much stronger and rigid that all plastic or nylon pliers.

A really nice tool
Very high quality tool. Operates smoothly, no play in the mechanism at all. Hidden spring in handle keeps the pliers open, quite handy. I got these to work on wire-rim eyeglasses without damaging the metal. They worked beautifully. Comes with an extra set of soft tips, but I have not worn out the first set yet.

Good little pair of pliers
I appreciate the spring function on many IPS pliers. These line up well and are comfortable to use. Being a slip-joint is a good touch. The black coating should guard well against rust. The pads can be a little slick when dealing with some materials like smooth metal, but a little double-sided sticky tape on them will solve that. They come with one set of replacement pads, but Amazon also sells them separately in packs of 2 pairs. Any play in the joint can be adjusted out with the nut on one side of it, which I like. It doesn't stick out enough to get in the way of anything.

Excellent, as expected
Just what you’d expect. Well made, feels good in the hand and included are extra soft jaws and screws.

The color
Firstly, this product was delivered days late. Secondly, the product on Amazon shows a lovely lavender color ( no option to choose color). Well I received a red one. I received a red one for the wider pliers so I was really hoping for a different color to differentiate the 2. Not to mention most tools are blue or red and having the calm lavender color would have been nice. I will say these pliers are exceptionally well made though and happy I made the discovery as a jeweler. My recommendation to the company is to allow for color options or simply show the color to be expected.

wonderful
Doing soft wire overlay on glass. Needed a plier that didn't mar the wire. These did the job. Much better than the clunky "jewelry" plies. And they came with extra nylon jaw covers. Narrow enough jaws to make small coils and long curves. Love them.

Great pliers for delicate work to protect parts.
Just be careful with the plastic jaws as they can break easily if to much force is used, but theses pliers do come a replacement set! You can see in my picture that they look to be an exact match to the Tamya pliers which don't come with extra plastic jaws and cost $10 more. Since I broke my Tamya jaws I purchased these pliers as a replacement as the plastic replacement jaws cant be found anywhere. But, these pliers come with a second set of jaws which fit the Tamya pliers so now I have two sets of working pliers, so win win.

Prevents scratches.
I should've gotten these 30 years ago.People who wear glasses know that we need to readjust the frame occasionally. But you don't want to use regular pliers. They scratch or even break legs, nose support, etc. In the past 30 years, I probably broke 3 pairs that way. Not my best hours. If RC dampers' cylinder rods get scratched, they can damage the o-rings inside. Wrapping things in paper is fine, but they can always slip off. I don't know why having the dedicated contact areas make that much of a difference, but they do. The soft plastic teeth(?) also have grooves so they'd have more surface areas to contact.
