Rebranded Etymotic ER20 Plugs at a Great Price! Highly Recommended
These Hearos "High Fidelity" earplugs are really the popular Etymotic Research ER20 plugs rebranded in a different package. In fact, they are also the same as the Mack's brand "Hear Plugs High Fidelity" model (I own them all). For whatever reason, both of the rebranded versions cost less than the "Etymotic" branded ones despite being exactly the same, but I'm not complaining! Over the past year, I have tried more than a dozen different models of ear plugs claiming to be either "flat attenuation", "natural sounding" or "high fidelity" with some costing upwards of $50 per pair! Needless to say, these Etymotic/Mack's/Hearos plugs are hands-down the best plug for the price if you are looking for a true "high fidelity" ear plug that will reduce the volume of your surroundings an appreciable amount without causing voices and music to become overly softened, muddled or inaudible. In fact, there's nothing at 2x or even 3x the price that exceeds the performance of these plugs and many similar designs, such as the popular "Vader" plugs, simply fall short in real world use. The NRR (noise reduction rating) of these plugs is rated at just 12db, so I DO NOT recommend them for use in shooting sports or high noise work environments. However, for short-term use in moderately loud environments, such as busy restaurants, parties, music concerts and band practices, these are an exceptional choice! In reality, the effective noise reduction of these plugs is closer to 20db at some frequencies, but it's always best to err on the side of caution when it comes to your ears, so get a plug with a higher NRR rating if you are going to be exposed to loud noises for more than a couple hours at a time. My only complaint is that the stem on this design sticks out a bit farther than I would prefer. However, the clear color does help conceal it and this is only an aesthetic preference, not a functional one. In use, the longer stem makes the plugs easier to hold, fit and remove than some other styles, particularly the Planet Waves "Pacato" earplugs and HearDefenders-DF models. The triple-layer, mushroom-shaped baffle system is a classic design, but continues to offer the widest range of fitment and offers a good quality seal in most ears with average size canals. All in all, these are a high quality ear plug that deliver exactly what they say...high fidelity sound with solid protection! Highly recommended. 10/10 would recommend
I bought these for the Jonas Brothers concert at Madison Square Garden and they worked wonders! No sound was muffled or distorted. All it did was lower the volume enough to where it was still loud and you still felt like you were at a concert but the sound was at a comfortably loud volume. I also have trouble with things staying in my ears and these did not fall out at all. The only thing I didn't like was the carrying case. As it's just this little tiny plastic container. I'd buy something else to put them in. Other than that they're perfect and these will be my new concert buddies.

Good for mild Misophonia
I am misophonic. For the unfamiliar, this is literally a hatred of sound, and is essentially a form of ocd. For some, it's a general aversion to all sound. I would not recommend these for those individuals, as much sound can still be heard through them. For me (and I believe most misophonics), I have specific trigger sounds, such as a nearby coworker who rubs his hands together frequently, and an adjacent coworker who sets an empty cup down too hard, the sound of chewing or swallowing, and the sound of zippers. It's not their fault. For me, these sounds are not a minor distraction or annoyance, they're amplified to absurd and exaggerated levels, infiltrating my thoughts and causing great unrest, to the point that I want to react intensely, even violently, despite being an otherwise calm and easygoing person. It's weird. Anywho, I digress. I consider my misophonia mild (compared especially to those who opt for surgeries that deafen), and am pleased with the relief these provide. Even if I can still just barely hear it, the sound is muffled enough that I can focus on something else and typically get over it, but I can still hear someone come up behind me. Far preferred to cranking music up to unhealthy levels, I recommend these for anyone who can relate. However, I do still keep my earbuds nearby for times when the noise is too great, as these can only muffle so much. I've worn them for about 90 minutes straight without discomfort, but haven't gone longer than that, as I don't think having something in your ear for so long could be healthy, unless truly worn for protection, which I'm afraid I cannot speak to.

Simple and Effective
Went to a metal concert and these helped SO MUCH! No after concert ringing in the ears, and felt very comfortable. The multisized tips make it easy to shove into any ear hole. Totally reduces volume but doesn't really distort the sound. The ear tips make a nice seal - full protection! It even comes with a little cheapo plastic case but hey - they weren't loose in my bag!

I've tried A LOT, these are the best!
For reference, I play guitar in loud bands and go to shows for loud music. I have so many different earplugs like I'm an addict looking for the right drugs.. you name 'em, I've most likely owned & tried them. Bought these just out of curiosity since I loved Hearos foams for sleeping, to my surprise these cheapo beats every single earplugs I have in terms of preserving EQ, easy application and comfort.. not even close. Others either altered high frequencies too much or just simply muffled it to the point that I had to tilt them from my earlobes so I can hear better music, which is counter intuitive. Ppl said these are a dupe of the ER20, nope.. these are better. The small blue flanges on the Etymotic are painful cos you have to REALLY push them all the way in, and you'll need to adjust every now and then from being shifted. This Hearos ones have a bit of larger flanges that will cover up my earlobes without even trying but soft and flexible enough to make them comfortable. It's the only ones that gives me the actual "same EQ but lowered volume" effects. The case is a joke as expected, but I can use one from the garbage Eargasm or Earasers for it.

Works as advertised.
This product is the same item as the Etymotic ER20 "large fit" ear plugs. The add photo link is not working for this product so for photo comparison check here . These work as advertised and reduce overall sound without excessive muddying. 'Excessive' being the operative word, not 'absolutely none at all'. I knocked off 2 stars for less comfort than alpine, no cord like the etymotic, and not advertising the fitment size. I am not a fan of the 3 tiered rubber plug. I think my ears are of average size but have no measure of that. My ears may just be sensitive to pressure and I can feel the edges of the plug when inserted. As for standard foam plugs I prefer softer ones such as the Hearos Ultimate Softness and Howard Leight Max Lite. For acoustic plugs I have purchased 1. Hearos HiFi , 2. Etymotic ER20 , 3. Alpine MusicSafe , 4. Vmoda Fader . Comfort: 1. Alpine 2. Hearos/Etymotic 3. Vmoda. Clarity: All are fairly close. I considered rating them high to low but I have no expertise and no good test that would apply to many other environments. As of this review the Hearos are cheaper than the Etymotic, but the ER20s come with a cord for about three bucks extra. Another customer asked a question about whether these were cord compatible, and it turns out that purchasing the cord separately is about eight bucks.

Great Ear Plugs
These plugs are great. I went to club last night with them and had them on the entire time. They are comfortable enough, in that you notice you have them on, but they don't really bother you. At one point I was directly in front of the 6 foot speaker amps, the floor around me was vibrating with every beat, I was feeling the power throughout my body, but my ears we fine. I don't know how people without plugs could stand that level of noise. The fidelity was almost perfect: the music came in through very clear, and you are able to get all of it (highs and lows) without having your ears blasted out by the volume. Hearing and speaking to people is almost perfect, although sometimes you might need to have them get closer (it might also be that I'm not used to talking with people over incredibly loud club music). The day after, I am incredibly glad I had these ear plugs. It's not worth stunting my hearing and having other side effects just to have a night out at a club. The rubber and plastic construction seems like it would be no problem to clean them and use them whenever needed. The carrying case is almost useless, since it is really hard to close correctly. If you are able to make the case work (you have to bend up the plastic flap on the bottom part of the case before closing, and then bend it back to normal to "lock" the case) then it's nice to keep in your pocket. Otherwise I would just get a small plastic bag or some other container that shuts securely. Do not hang the case from your key chain, since it will most likely pop open and you will lose your ear plugs, or the little plastic loop might break and you will lose the case entirely.

O produto cumpre bem a proposta de reduzir ruído nocivo, eu tenho hipersensibilidade e ao usar os plugs eu me sinto muito mais calmo, com ruído mental bem reduzido.

Levels external sound
This is better than expected. It actually levels external noise so it doesnt hurt your ears. Taken it to bar gigs and loud concerts

Low level of noise reduction and difficult to create a seal
Disappointing level of noise reduction, sounds are still too loud wearing these. Also unreliable in creating a seal, which is difficult, and the plugs don't function properly without
