Thompson Center Arms Thompson Center Accessories 35008007 209 Flex Capper

After buying several primer holders from the company that makes one of the other line of muzzle loaders I found this one to work the best for the Traditions model Vortex that takes a 209 primer. Interesting that the company that makes a certain firearm does not make an accessory that works well for it. This loader is inexpensive and has worked well in loading my primer into the breech plug. I would buy 2 just in case they quit making this particular kind.

Easy to use and nice to have everything together and not all over the place

Works just as designed and fully functional. Great way to carry around your caps without the worry of loosing them. Not to mention the great functionality of install/removal. Simply put the cap in the end, push it into the breach and twist sideways and it releases the cap. Removal is even easier simply push the capper onto the spent cap and pull it out and its as easy as that.

Primers fit secure, 2 to quick load, more for a back up, Quality, useful piece of gear

Nothing special but doesn’t it’s job. I like it because it keeps the end of the prime clean and hopefully dry. I cringe when I seem someone with primer just thrown in a pocket.

Holds you 209 primers really well. Carried this product in and out of my pocket for a ten day elk hunt, without having a single primer fall out. Was very happy with this products performance.

This product was a lifesaver for me when hunting with my muzzleloader. The ability to put two primers on each end made it very easy even with gloves on to put the primer into my muzzleloader.

It looks like it would work well enough for some muzzleloaders like break actions. Unfortunately I couldn't cap my CVA bolt action, there wasn't enough room to get the tool into the action and get the primer lined up.
