Good cop if you have small devices
Yes this thing is clutch when out in the wild. Charges phones at most and small gadgets. Even comes with a power bank too. Charges the power bank on go, whoever designed this, did it right. Solid build quality not as fragile as I thought it would be

Great for Peace of Mind for Power Outages
I bought this for preparedness and I am glad I did. We lost power 3 times in an month for various reasons and I was sick of worrying about if our phones are dying. The name backpackers series is fitting. Be sure to read the description. It explains that it charges best in direct sunlight. Through a window is NOT the best way to charge it. I found that it adequately charged if I put it outside on a sunny day, so I can see why the name is backpacker series. Which is fine, because it's weather resistant anyway. I tried to charge it in a window with sun directly hitting it, and it didn't charge well. But, it charged well outside in the sun. Make sure you understand the device itself doesn't hold a charge. I bought the one with the external power bank. If you don't, you either have to charge your phone or devices directly by the device. I didn't try this. I prefer the external power bank. The power bank from sunjack charged my phone about as quickly as plugging it into the wall charger, so I'm very pleased. I will be able to use it to charge all of my external power banks and my rechargable lantern. It's peace of mind the next time we lose power.

Lightweight, packable and Functional
Works well, charges pretty quickly and lasts long enough to do a couple phones, a gps, headlamp or Garmin Inreach. I have not tried to drain it on charging electronics in mass. Two or three items and then you need to recharge the power bank. Great for backpacking… lightweight and slim!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY I bought the **SunJack 15W Solar Charger** for emergency backup during backcountry hikes, and it completely failed to perform. This product is unreliable, inefficient, and potentially dangerous if you’re depending on it in a real survival scenario. ❌ Major Flaws: ✔ **"Fast Charging" is a Lie** – In **direct sunlight**, it took **over 30 minutes to add just 1%** to my phone. At that rate, a full charge would take **days**. ✔ **Clouds = Zero Power** – Even slight overcast makes it **utterly useless**. ✔ **Flimsy & Poorly Designed** – The panels don’t stay in place when attached to a backpack, constantly flipping over and blocking sunlight. ✔ **Overpriced Junk** – For the same price, a **high-capacity power bank** would give **10x more reliable power**. **⚠️ Serious Safety Risk:** If you’re counting on this for emergencies, think twice. I tested it on a multi-day trek, and **it left me without a way to call for help when my phone died. A solar charger that barely works in perfect conditions is worse than having none at all—it gives **false confidence**. This is **not a functional solar charger**—it’s a **scam**. Save your money and buy a **trusted power bank** instead. **Zero stars if I could.** Would NOT recommend to anyone.

Excellent set up for bike packing!
I just finished RAGBRAI and did it self-supported. Each day I rode with the solar panel “out” and attached to my panniers by caribiners, with an extra bungee cord for stabilization. The panel would charge the battery pack. Then, at night I used the battery pack to charge my Garmin, hand-held fan, and iPhone. It worked flawlessly. This system works very well. Recommend!

USB - C cable not working
the included USB-C cable does not work. Tried same cable on a normal wall charger as well -> NOGO. I used a USB-C cable that i had on hand and now seems to work fine. Most lily will return and replacement.
