Chemical smell made it off-putting
Was quite dissapointed. Much more chemical taste than expected (especially the salted caramel). Still helps sweeten things but as a replacement for honey or something it is very noticeable and can be off-putting.

Horrible taste
I bought these products as a friend said they were delicious and so much better for you than the “real” thing.Golden syrup tasted awful and left a horrible aftertaste in my mouth.Salted caramel was incredibly sweet and just had a synthetic maple syrupy taste which was unpleasant.I wanted a thick sauce to go over fruit and meringues but these are very thin. I’ve actually just put them in the bin as incredibly disappointed with my purchase and can’t think of any use for them.😩😩 now looking on Amazon for the real salted caramel😂
