My kids are constantly leaving the garage lights on 24/7. I looked into having an electrician put a timer on the three-way switch that we had, but he recommended using these motion sensitive lights instead. They work great at night; however, I will say that if you have windows in your garage or garage door, they will not turn on during the day (as they also have dusk-to-dawn sensing). I have a work-around for this issue because my shop lights are fluorescent and are on an independent switch. At night these are wonderful - one of them lights up immediately when I open the door from the basement to the garage. The others kick in when you are eight to twelve feet away from them. It has solved the problem of the lights being on all the time.

These bulbs work great. They all consistently come on at the same time and provide a bright, warm white light. We use them on all our exterior fixtures- it’s nice to flip the switch on and let the bulbs do the work. We have had our first batch for several years and they have held up well. New bulbs match the old bulbs so no problems with getting more or replacing.

I purchased these in June 2021 and had one stop working. No where near the hours they are listed for. I contacted the seller and they were very prompt to reply and offered to reimburse me after I placed a replacement order on Amazon. Presto! Replacement item arrived and I was quickly reimbursed. These motion sensing bulbs work best for hallways in the house!I originally ordered these in October 2020, at $29.99 for a 4 pack and just now had one go out. Currently buying the same 4pack for $21.99.I've been using LED bulbs in the house for many years. Out of all of them, my Phillips hue bulbs are still running strong after over 8 years. Other brands work okay but usually lower the price the more likely they won't last long. This brands quality has made me a customer again, and at a great price! Just made another order today since I know these worked amazingly for me. Even people visiting the house comment about how it's a nice touch for hallways and not having to remember to turn the lights off and on.Highly recommend!

Do not waste your money on this product. The dusk to dawn on/off feature malfunctioned after only 2 weeks of use. Then, the lights stopped working altogether. These are poorly made and highly unreliable.

They work fine—but for only about 8000 hours. (dusk to dawn 11-12 hours average per day, for two years)

I had a programmable porch light switch, but the programming was a pain. Small buttons with multiple steps. Not my thing. Bought the bulbs for my 4 outside lights. 2 on the porch and 2 on the garage. They do turn on and off at slightly different times depending on ambient light, but the neighbors don't seem to notice and they work every night and shut off every morning. Exactly what I needed!

These bulbs will save me money since they only come on dusk to dawn instead of being on continuously to illuminate my back yard at night - no need for a separate light sensor to activate them - the sensor is built into the bulbs themselves.

Great light bulbs. North side of the house is always in shade. Bulb still works fine, even with the old glass enclosure on it. Hopefully it will deter burglars from stalking the house. A little too bright if your light is close to the window or the sliding door. So others may want to go with the 9 watt bulb.

I ordered these bulbs for outdoor potlights, but was unsure whether ir not they would work in this type of fixture. The good news … they work very well.
