How to calibrate this meter as it has error in reading 115mm?

My guess is that there is no need to recalibrate the meter. The body of the meter measures 115 mm long. I think you have inadvertently switched it from measuring the distance from the rear of the device to measuring from the front, or vice versa. I mentioned in my review that it was possible to do this accidentally. If this isn't the reason then it needs returning.

Any good for outdoor measurements - in daylight?

It seems to give a believably accurate measurement to whatever you're pointing it at distances of up to at least 35 metres away, even in broad daylight. But in daylight it can be very difficult to tell what you're pointing it at if that's more than about 6 metres away, unless the surface you're pointing it at is large, plain and highly reflective. It's a small dot and not dazlingly bright outside in daylight.

Does this have a visible beam, if not how do you see the red dot 100m away ?

On the back of the device it says accurate up to 50m, and there is only the laser light. I haven't measured anything that long, but would imagine if you can't see the red dot, you'd have to measure the distance another way, maybe in shorter increments.
