Carhartt thermal underwear
When you have to be out in the cold it makes good sense to be wearing thermal underwear. Thermal underwear makes the difference. Mid-weight or heavy weight the quantity and comfort is just there.

What can I say
Can’t go wrong with carhartt. Been buying their gear for years. This is another to add to their quality list. Love this pull over.

It’s a $50 long sleeve T-shirt!
Completely dissatisfied with this, it’s getting sent back! I feel like I got scammed paying $50 by the time they hit me with tax for a long sleeve t-shirt you can buy a 4 pack of anywhere for under $20.How could anyone possibly consider this as “heavy weight” and for “subzero temperatures”? I was expecting something thick, you know “heavy weight” like a sweatshirt without the hood. I have t-shirts thicker than this. It has absolutely no insulation properties for “subzero” temperatures at all. What is the “light weight” version if you order it, a bag of air? This offers absolutely zero warmth. Then its advertised as “19% wool”, be careful with that because if you read the full description of the wool one then decide to pick a different color it changes to the one that has no wool without warning. Even if you get the one that claims to be “19% wool” it isn’t, it says on the label the “face is 80% polyester 20% wool, back is 100% polyester”, I don’t even know what this marketing trickery is supposed to mean because it looks/feels like front, back, sides, top and bottom are all 100% polyester. If you wore this thing in subzero temperatures you’d die from hypothermia in under 20 minutes. The sizing isn’t accurate either. I have a “large” Carharrt hooded sweatshirt that fits my 6’2 200lb body perfectly so I ordered this in a large/tall. The sleeves are a good length but its so tight you look like one of those clowns who wear their shirts 2 sizes too small so they can tell you about how they spend way too much time living at the gym and drinking protein shakes.
