The custom designed light adheres to the inside top surface of your trunk using automotive grade foam tape which is pre-applied to the Top Lite base. This unique light has an automatic on/off tilt switch that ensures you can't close the lid and leave the light on. Also has a manual off switch allowing you to manually turn the light off when you don't need it. These features ensure long battery life. Powered by self contained AAA (3) batteries, which are not included. Other small space lighting products use watch batteries, which cost more and don't last very long.
