I purchased the one ear version and liked it so much that I exchanged it for the two ear set. (The only difference is the charging cord does both at the same time.)I have moderate hearing loss and was using a $5000 set from my audiologist. They worked, but they were never "OMG these are great!" They needed adjustments which required an appointment and another copayment each time. I paid extra for a remote with Bluetooth so I could adjust the volume. It worked, then broke, was exchanged, broke again, etc. It never really lived up to expectations, much like the hearing aids themselves.So when my left-side hearing aid failed, I decided to look for a low cost alternative. I tried 5 different hearing aids (both behind the ear and in the ear) all under $100. Each of them was superior to my broken one! The in the ear models had too much squeal, the behind the ear models worked best for me. I found one I really liked, but I really wanted a hearing aid I could program.So I took a chance and ordered the single-ear $400 model. Worst case scenario, I didn't like it and would send it back. Well, that didn't happen. It fit perfect with the smallest earpiece. Programming with the app was just like going to the audiologist. And my hearing was better than I could ever remember. I finally had my OMG moment!Bluetooth works good too. Mostly I use it to listen to audiobooks, and it's perfect.Battery life for me is about 16 hours. That's with heavy Bluetooth use.I mentioned earlier I exchanged my single ear hearing aid for the two ear set. The seller was very helpful in making this a smooth transaction.

Perfect bluetooth hearing amplifier except one minor flaw. The USB connector is against the plastic shell. If your not careful (me) and rush the inserting of the USB cable, you could press the connector against the shell and break it. Once the shell is broken the receiving part of the USB charger hangs out. Glue fixes it but it doesn't look pretty any more.Anyway - Love this - it works great - I just wish the charging solution was drop it in a charging station with pins vs USB cable to make it last longer.The audio is superior !! Bluetooth Rocks ! (yes Bluetooth kills the battery faster - USB charging allows for in car charging)

i was very disappointed. it is too big on my ear and afraid to wear all day long. The charge did not last long so when I did use, I had to recharge frequently throughout the day. I got it for work when answering the phone. The bluetooth constantly went off on its own and I needed to keep going to my phone to reset it which is difficult while working.

Lasted six months. Cared for it properly and worked pretty well for a time. Wasted $$$. They are now out of business.

Product worked as advertised but maximum volume was insufficient to meet my needs.

The cost for the hearing aids was estimated at $5,000. Not knowing of any other options, I checked on the internet and discovered another option--at a much lower cost--hearing amplifiers. I discovered that Amazon offered many devices and I tried several of the amplifiers. It was difficult to find one that would work for me--either the product was too small or too uncomfortable.Finally I came across the Bluetooth Personal Sound Amplifier named Sidekick by Sound World Solutions. It is a bit higher in price than some of their other products, but is well worth the difference. For me this device is comfortable (you can barely see that I am wearing an amplifier) and most importantly I definitely can hear much better. Also there is rarely a background noise. If there is you can adjust the volume on the unit.Other features I enjoy is that the battery that comes with it is rechargeable and that I have bluetooth capability which allows for adjusting the settings using my smartphone.

Having attempted to talk my hesitant father-in-law into a hearing aid (which he desperately needed but didn't have the funds for) I purchased this unit and installed it in his right ear and the control ap on his smartphone.We were anticipating rebellion from him but instead were relieved and delighted that he received it not only with open arms (and mind) but he was thrilled in how we could speak in normal tones (not screaming) and he could hear: "EVERYTHING".After a few minutes of wearing it he suddenly asked: "What is that ticking sound? Is it my heart?"It was the kitchen wall clock! He had never heard that before!He received a phone call and we put it on Blu-tooth. The puzzled look on his face was priceless. He didn't need to have the smartphone on speaker nor hold it up to his ear!LOL!The many settings are a great advantage. He plays fiddle and desperately needs to hear everything in many different venues.The only things that I would change is you should make the tube longer and give a link to a place where we can purchase new ear buds for him.His big Norwegian ears need extra length tubing for a better fit and being a bachelor now it's easier to replace than to repair what he can't clean with his big Norwegian fingers.Also: The safety plug for the charging inlet is too small and difficult for him to engage and disengage. Hence the 4-stars.Thank you for this device. It has made him a "new man".

I only needed this occasionally but it never kept a charge more than 3-4 hours. Now, no more than one hour. works reasonably well, when it works -- essentially never, so a waste of money.
