Kair Beige 100mm Louvred Wall Vent Grille with Flyscreen and Rear Spigot

I have just fitted a bathroom extractor fan and needed a cover for the outside vent. I fitted the vent into the roof soffit board which was the shortest run and most convenient place to fit it. The back-draught damper is fitted to the back of the ceiling fan so I just needed a simple vent cover. This vent cover fitted the bill nicely. It's well made and fitted the standard 100mm hole, although I did drill a hole 110mm to ease the fitting of the flexible hose. Getting the cover on and off is a bit of a faff, particularly when the cover is fitted into the soffit - as I did. Prising the cover off with a screwdriver and then back on again whilst holding the ladder is no easy feat - a screw fitting would have been much better. For this reason I abandoned the idea of fitting the fly screen, as the thought of climbing back up to clean the screen of anything that might be stuck to it did not appeal one bit! It's a nice neat looking, well made, vent cover - ideal if you have easy access, not quite so if high up with difficult access.

Good item fit for the job

Fits perfectly and was very easy to install. The build quality feels good and it does the job well. The flyscreen is a nice added feature too. Only downside is that it doesn’t come with screws, so you’ll need to have your own ready. Overall, a good product and does exactly what it’s meant to do.

Product seems of good quality, but I’ve essentially had to damage it to get the grill off so I can drill it, tried sliding a knife / implement to widen the casing but just ended up bending bits.

La ventola si attiva manualmente con temporizzatore selezionabile tra 5, 10, 20 e 30 minuti, oppure in automatico in base all'umidità dell'ambiente scegliendo tra quattro valori dal 60 al 90 %. È abbastanza silenziosa.
