I’ve used it for Zoom and Teams calls. It seems really good.

Q: They work well with a phone but don’t seem to work when plugged into my son’s pc. Do we need to do anything special on the pc?

I'd contact the manufacturer. Sometimes they need an extra component to connect to PC and/or some firmware
