what a fantastic piece of equipment, signal is great gave me full bars of reception, really worked great, easy to use installation and great product.

A bright smiley card inside the package tells you to install the software before plugging in the device - the opposite of what the instruction leaflet tells you to do - so I did this then spent an hour trying to figure out why it refused to connect to my network even though it detected a strong signal. Finally I unplugged it, uninstalled the software then plugged it back in and Windows handled it instantly, no fuss. Save yourself a lot of grief - ignore all the instructions and just plug it in. So one star dropped for that, and for the fact that the antenna will only fold in one direction - it doesn't swivel like my previous dongle - so it tends to get in the way of other wires and stuff.

I bought this for my Windows 7 machine and at first it never connected, then when it eventually connected, it was flaky. Like I'd be able to browse a few websites and then it wouldn't work. ping -t to google.com would show packet loss often. It's possible it's caused by wifi interference as there's loads of 2.4ghz networks here. But all I know is I bought a competing Wifi USB dongle and it's working perfect and I'm typing this message on it. I won't mention the brand name of the competing product as I'm sure they all work and it's just this one that is flaky.

Easy to install, worked firts time with Windows 10, excellent delivery and value for money.

Used this on a new dell laptop in a poor WiFi area, it didn’t work but I don’t know if this is due to user error. I’m not technically minded so just give up trying.. other than that it looked like a quality product.

I have an old pc running Windows xp and have always struggled to get a good connection as it is in a back bedroom away from our home hub. I only use pc to access Internet and e mails. Device was easy to install and I get a really strong signal. So far its worked perfectly.

I have updated the review as of 11/13/23, to reflect my complete satisfaction with this product as well as admiration of the vendor's customer service. I was contacted by the vendor after my review posted and they offered to send me a replacement, which I gratefully accepted. On testing, the product performs very well on my home network and was trouble-free to plug in and start to use. Easy to recommend this product now that I have been able to use and test it. For its price, it is a great deal and performs very nicely. RECOMMENDED! My initial review of this product was "This is a very fragile product. Likely would have been able to test it if I could plug it in while in a straight-on orientation, but my application required the antenna to articulate to 90 deg. The antenna dislocated from the hinge and then the antenna wire broke before I could get it reassembled. Disappointing. Great price though - would like to see if it actually works.
