Does the glass come with UV protection?

I don’t think so, the Matt inside also doesn’t hold the diplomas correctly. I have to open mine to straighten them once a week.

It doesn't weigh very much. I gave it as a gift so I can't weigh it.

For the black frame option, is the backplane black? some review photos look like they have brown backs and some are black.

Mine is black. I believe there are a couple of option including brown.
