VASAGLE Bookshelf, 8 Cubes Storage Organizer, 35.4 x 11 x 39.4 Inches

I wasn't as fast putting this thing together as everyone else seemed to be, maybe because I'm terrible at this sort of thing or because I couldn't understand the first picture in the instructions - it is NOT a step, like I thought it was and was so confused by, but rather showing you how to put in and tighten those 50-odd little circular metal screw things. (I also didn't understand that you could tighten them until the very end, yes, that's how dumb I am, so the whole time I was thinking this shelf was going to be a piece of rickety garbage which was somehow meant to stay together based on tension or something and was definitely going to just collapse the second I stood it up). It took me probably two hours alone. I will say, though, APART from the snag with that one picture demonstrating what to do with the circular screw things, the instructions were all quite clear and I had no other actual issues putting it together. I was *very* happy that of all 52 screws that had to be screwed in, only one went in even slightly crooked and had to be redone. Really a breeze, all things considered. It comes with all the tools you need (unless you want to attach it to the wall; I didn't), which is really just a screwdriver - the assembly kit includes one which you can switch around to be flathead or Phillips, as you need both. It seems quite sturdy, much sturdier than I feared. It doesn't seem in any danger of tipping over or anything. I have it packed full of heavy books and it's supporting them like a champ. It's also a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be, which is a plus. Edit 2.5 months later: I'd give this thing 6 stars if I could. It looks great, it's good quality, it's big and good value for the money. Next time my books start overflowing I'm getting another one of these.

I ordered the Vasagle Custos Bookshelf in the 7 Cube option. I have a space in my closet that I have been piling my purses and duffles up the side of the wall with. This has been a great storage/ organized solution to the growing pile. This cabinet literally took less than a half an hour to put together. Each piece was marked with a lettered sticker. The directions were easy to follow and It came with all the required hardware. The only tool needed that was not included was a Phillips screwdriver. The back portion comes in 2 pieces and slides into a groove, giving it a lot more structural support. Not the cardboard paper kind that gets tacked to the back. I put contact paper on the back pieces before putting them in place. Just to trying to bring up the aesthetics of the whole white laminated furniture look. Not that it will even be seen once the shelves are full. It is 42”H x 20”W. The inside depth to each shelf is 9”. So, not terribly deep, but great for stacking and keeping items organized. This shelf was priced few dollars less than other sites that seemed to be selling the exact same piece. Overall, Im pretty happy with the quality and it fits my needs and space perfectly.

Within five minutes of this hitting my porch, I was putting it together. I buy a lot of furniture that has to be put together, and the directions for this piece were by far some of the best I’ve ever seen. I appreciate the way the pieces were packed, as well. Each type of hardware was packed in a very clearly labeled bag. This piece even came with screwdriver! It’s a very nice tool, the shaft is reversible so you can easily switch between Phillips and flathead. I am an out of shape, overweight, 58-year-old grandmother, and I was able to put this together by myself quite easily. It took me about an hour because I was being very careful to do it correctly. This bookshelf is a great value for your money, and makes a wonderful addition to my grandkids’ room. I may even order a second one at some point.

I’m so disappointed in this shelf. It came chipped and marked up. I still put it together because sending it back would be really difficult, but found that I was sent a defective piece. Panel D wasn’t cut correctly - missing two of the holes for the twist lock fasteners. These fasteners needed to go onto the corner of the piece, securing the top and side pieces. Without them, the piece is even less stable. The box was also missing hardware #8 - the pins/caps that go on the bottom of the furniture. The product photos also show it being flipped so the lip/ledge is on the top, but doesn’t include instructions for that so you need to figure out which pieces to swap so all of the fasteners don’t show. Overall, the shelf isn’t stable, comes with defective pieces, looks cheap, and the instructions don’t show you how to put it together to reduce the appearance of fasteners. My recommendation is to save your money and buy a different shelf.

Product is very nice and sturdy. Simple instructions. Only negative is bookshelf is smaller than I hoped. Had to place it on a stand in order to get the right height for my family room.

I have absolutely no issues with this bookshelf. I bought one to hold all my art supplies, but, I love it so much that I'm definitely planning on getting a second one soon! Feels nice and sturdy, it's a good size, and it has no issue supporting the weight of everything I put into it. It has no issue fitting the 11"x11" cubes. And, overall, it was a great deal when I got it on the sale price of $55.

Awesome bookshelf. Was able to put it together in about an hour. The instructions are easy to understand and follow and they even include a dual sided tool to put screws in that you can use for future projects. I have about 100 books that fit in the shelves and still have room for more. People who complained about the black strip showing on the panel piece put it on backwards, so just make sure you attach that with the black strip in the back. I only just assembled it, so I can’t say how long it will last, but it felt sturdy when I had to life and move it. Highly recommend if you are looking for a bookshelf with a lot of space for books.

Excellent value for money. VERY sturdy and high quality. Clear instructions. The Amazon basics/value cube storage drawers fit fine with this unit. No problems with delivery in Australia (regional NSW).

La verdad si la recomiendo, queda demasiada ensamblada, muy firme, fuerte, está barato para lo que si ofrece y sirve, tiene todas las herramientas incluidas, si lo recomiendo totalmente

Muy bonito librero o juguetero. Me cupieron perfecto las cjas de juguetes de mis nietos. Y se ve ordenado y bonito
