The perfect replacement for a 10 year old Homebase TC-8061 air conditioner hose
Bought the clockwise version of this hose to replace a damaged hose on a 10-year-old Homebase TC-8061 airconditioner. It arrived today and I was delighted to find that it fits the unit perfectly, so rest assured if you have the same model, it will fit your A/C unit. Reason for the replacement is that the original plastic hose (that came with the unit) has finally begun to disintegrate, presumably the result of heat damage, age etc, so we needed a replacement ASAP. I spent some time researching hoses to make sure I got the right size, the right sturdiness and the right orientation and the new hose fits the unit like a glove and is nice and sturdy too. More expensive than I was expecting, but in this case it definitely looks like you are getting what you pay for, because it looks super sturdy in comparison to the cheap hoses.

One of the few 5" hoses with clockwise thread
Tougher quality than the hose that came with the original Electrolux unit. Dimensions measured as advertised. Clockwise thread was the most important consideration as most products are anti-clockwise.

Replaced a 20 year old air conditioning hose that was falling apart. Works well seems a good replacement but is very expensive for what is it.

El material es de excelente calidad. El tubo de mi A/A es de 12 cm de diámetro, tuve que hacer una adaptación ya que este que compré es un poco más grande 12.7 cm. Lo compré por que no había algo más cercano a lo que necesitaba pero estoy satisfecho.

Great Hose, Reasonably Priced!
Awesome AC Hose and it even fits right! Lol. It’s took us two tries to get it right, but that’s not the hose’s fault! We didn’t measure oroperly the first time. When this one came for great! Just what we wanted and is long enough to move our portable ac unit around a bit!
