Even cooler in person !
The gargoyle holding a book is even better looking in person. The book has what looks like Egyptian hieroglyphs on the right hand page and the mystical five pointed star on the left-hand page. He is a good value and perfect weight. I have several gargoyles because I really love them and this one is one of my favorites.

Bob
I named him Bob and he sits next to my bed. Sometimes he holds things for me. But seriously, he is adorable and I'm glad to have him. He is well made and has incredible detail.

Small but adorable
I bought him to go on my bookshelf in my study. I thought he was going to be a bit bigger but that was my fault. I read the dimensions of the package, not the item. He is so cute and even his book has writing on it! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes gargoyles, has long as they don't raise the price above $30.

Beware shipping breakage
Either a packaging defect or a product defect. First one arrived with a broken left wing no box damage. Ordered a second one because i like the item. Second one arrived with a broken left wing. It gets 2 stars because I liked it enough to keep one and fix it. I cannot in good conscience recomend a product that is highly probable to arrive broken.
