Such a Helpful Tool!
This was my first time using wood molding to make a frame for a project, and I read about using a strap clamp when gluing the four pieces together after cutting the 45° angles in a miter box. It was faster to buy this on Amazon Prime than ship-to-store with the big hardware store that didn't have this particular model in stock (it had the best features of all the strap clamps), and it came in perfect timing. It was easy to use, and the corner pieces that have just the feet touching the wood, and not the strap, makes it super nice. I ran a couple of dry runs first, which I recommend since the first one I tightened too much and the frame popped apart like that game where all the pieces go flying - oops! I also recommend watching a YouTube video about how to use it, if you haven't use one before, since it doesn't come with any directions. You loosely put it around your project, place the corner pieces in place, use the rotating reel handle to reel in the strap tight, and then turn the large handle to the right to tighten it as much as you need. The length is longer than the others, which will come in handy with future frame projects, and the edges are better than the others, and the tightening mechanism is much better and faster than manually pulling each side of the strap like others have. And the cost is better than many with fewer features, plus the brand is reputable. Definitely worth getting!

Great product
Worked great, just as intended. I Used it to make an over sized ottoman table and it kept everything square

excellent for dry fitting mitered joints
Maybe not enough pressure for glue-ups unless your joints are perfect, but they make it very easy to bring the whole case together for dry fitting using only a couple of these strap clamps.

Great strap clamp
Conforms nicely to irregular surfaces, tightens very securely. The little winder handle doesn't operate as smoothly as I'd expect but otherwise it's another great Bessey clamp.

Great product!
This is a wonderful addition to my frame making tool kit! I will definitely be getting more of these to help increase my production capacity. It's easy to use, and makes the frames look much more professional. My most recent frames wowed people at the last art fair.

Sturdy and useful
A good clamp for making boxes or drawers to hold right angle without much effort. It extends to various sizes making it a feasible option for many scenarios.

Great, versatile, clamp for the weekend woodworker
Steve Ramsay on YouTube recommended this, I just found my first use for it. I am making a raised bowl for my Great Dane and I needed to glue the half lap supports to the legs. I used this to ensure I was gluing them together square. It is a bit tricky to get set into place, but then it tightens easy and works well.

Scelta ottima.

Well made and easy enough to use
I find this product to be well made and fairly easy to use. Mine did not come with any instructions, but it wasn't too hard to figure out.- back out the tensioner [2] all the way (see photo)- pull out a little bit of strap from the right hand side of the clamp body- attach the corners (one may have to go between the metal joiner and the clamp body) (see photo)- pull out enough strap for the project- arrange the corners around the project- wind in the slack with the handle [1] (see photo)- tighten the strap with the tensioner [2] (see photo)I didn't know why the traps are joined as they are with the steel wire loop - a visit to the Bessey site reveals the following: The steel wire loop opens quickly and simply to adjust or release glue-up (see photo)
