My beloved partner struggles with back problems, and getting in and out of my Golf was a challenge for her. So I bought one of these for her. It drops into the door lock thingy just as the instructions say and makes it so much easier for her. I liked it so much I bought a second one for her car. And then a third one when she gave away the second one to a friend of hers who was suffering similarly.It's a solid chunk of metal, so no worries about durability, and has fitted all of the cars we've tried it on. Recommended!

What I dont understand is when the review title explains in detail what this is used for (Portable Vehicle Support Handle, Standing Mobility Aid, Car Assist Cane Grab Bar, ) why does this review ask - what did you use it for '?Are there any alternative uses for it like playing golf with mice or as a fake gun ??Anyway I use it for what its' meant for and it works just fine

Mum was really having trouble getting out of my car, because of her reduced mobility and this tool is really helpful. She can now exit the car, using this, without struggling. Mum does not use it to get into the car; she can do that unaided. Definitely recommended.

This has helped me so much with supporting my mum when getting in and especially out of my car. My 83 year old mum is currently waiting for a knee replacement and when she needs to visit the doctor or hospital this product has helped her immense relief. I bought this on recommendation from one of my friends who had also bought it for their mum. My mum is of an age where getting out of a car is difficult and when you don’t have strength and reaching up for a handle or no handle then it’s really hard for them to get out. This little gadget sits in the pocket of the car so it’s always handy and it really helps.
