I’ve been using SUNLU PLA Beige specifically for skin-color 3D prints, and it works great. The color is very natural and consistent, making it perfect for figures, models, and detailed parts without needing much post-processing or painting. Print quality is solid—smooth extrusion, good layer adhesion, and minimal stringing. It feeds well with no tangling, and I’ve had reliable results on longer prints. Overall, great filament if you’re looking for a realistic skin-tone PLA. Highly recommend!

For the price, this filament can't be beat. Never have any real issues with prints. I've tried as many different colors and they all have came out great. No moisture issues, no tangling, works well at 220 nozzle and 55 bed for me. Adhesion is great. Colors have always been very consistent and vibrant. I originally bought it because it was the cheapest option and I didn't want to figure out how to print with an expensive filament and waste money on failed prints, but with how this has performed so far, I honestly don't see a reason to buy a more expensive brand, other than if SUNLU doesn't offer a specific type of filament.

Good fillament which printed well and gave us no issues. Spools are wound well and the first layers always looked great, no clogging issues with 0.4 and 0.6 nozzles. We used them to print little dinasaurs and sculls

As PLA goes it isn't the best, but that's more to do with being a translucent filament rather than being poorly formulated. It prints at normal temperatures, isn't brittle, doesn't clog (which suggests good dimensional accuracy which you would expect from a Sunlu labelled filament. Not inclined to tangle and looks good. Note that transparent PLA is notorious for being prone to hair. You have to fuss with parameters for best results. I've used it for desiccant jars i place in the hub of filament spools as it lets me see the degree of moisture absorption in the filaments. Like all PLA it is NOT very impact resistant, especially if your print is mostly lattice work (gotta have air circulation which means weak walls.)

I’ll occasionally get a bind on the SUNLU spools as it gets pulled out of the AMS, but otherwise it’s an easy fix and the prints always come out great. I always dry my ASA, PA12 and PETG filaments, but never had an issue with moisture and SUNLU PLA, which gets left in the open.

Sunlu is one of the largest manufacturers of filament in the world. They make an absolutely excellent product. So much so , that many of the smaller names in the industry buy from Sunlu , either private label , or simply repackage them on their own. That should tell you right there that they are at the top of their game. The spools are neatly wound , the colors are vibrant , the printed results are phenomenal with no stringing or warping. The spools and filament perform perfectly 99% of the time. Id have to say any errors , if any at all are most likely user error. I only use Sunlu filament in all my prints because you just cant find a better option. They check off all the boxes.

This filament is the best I have ever ordered. The prints come out very smooth and it is very easy to set up. For 1 kg of filament this is amazing! It isn't too thin or too thick for my Bambu labs printer and it extrudes very well. As for moisture it holds up very well over different time periods and weather, Since it starting to warm up a bit. I am very surprised about how good this product is and would definitely purchase this again!

I am very pleasantly surprised by the transparency and print quality of this PLA. It is much better than more expensive rolls I have bought. I tried it first with a problematic model that had failed on me 3 times in a row when I attempted using transparent PETG and not only did the model not fail, but came out downright perfect despite using 0.24 mm layer height. It is much more clear than I expected- like frosted glass. While still on the roll, it’s actually a milky white, but clarifies when printed. With that said, it is a little brittle. A piece broke off in my AMS at one point, but that is probably a tradeoff for being very well dried. In all, this was a great purchase at a great price.
