Works with Vestax Pad One
Amazing. After many hours of searching for an adapter, this one WORKS! I’m using this for my vestax pad one midi controller. Only issue is that to send midi out, I have to go out the midi “in”. Not sure why, but I don’t care because my search is over.

Good cable but did not work for my intended purpose
I bought this cable thinking it would work for the Yamaha Reface keyboards. It does connect to the keyboard but only only side of midi works. I was hoping it would work for attaching the Yamaha Reface to a midi controller or for usb hosting but sadly it does not.

Workds as Expected
Yep, this is what you need to hook up 5 pin DIN MIDI cables to your Beat Buddy, and it works perfectly. Just plug the small end into your Beat Buddy's small MIDI port, then plug in regular 5 pin DIN MIDI cables to the clearly labeled IN or OUT receptacles on the cord, and you'll be set to send or receive MIDI commands.

We really are smack in the middle of a misinformation era. This cable is but slightly over 1 foot long rather than the 3 feet as mentioned in the listing and stated by the AI answer-bot. Oh well. We continue to live in interesting times.
