I bought this to play with my husband and wasn't entirely sure what to expect.What we got was a folder of documents and three envelopes, two of which had questions to answer and some additional evidence to consider. The third one had the solution, which had the entire crime broken down, and some bonus questions. The answers to the questions you put into a website which confirms if you're right, and tells you if you can open the next envelope. I liked this, it meant we knew if we were on the right track.The case wasn't too difficult, but still took several attempts at one of the questions, and took us about 2 and a half hours or so to complete. There are also several red herrings, which feed into the investigation but less so to the solution.Also worth noting there is a bit of the website and a password you're given, which gives you repack lists for the envelopes. So you can put everything back and hand it to someone else to play.We enjoyed it so much I emailed to ask when the next case was coming out (hopefully before Christmas, so fingers crossed we get it in time for New Years Eve), and had a lovely response back from Jess within a few minutes.Very happy with the purchase, even if we can't play it again, it's very well thought out and we will be purchasing the next one.

Really enjoyed playing this game. Did a game night with my boyfriend and was quite a nice challenge.Don’t want to give out spoilers of the game, but you really need to think as a detective and look at the case from several angles. The game comes with a lot of evidence that you need to join up in order to proceed to next stages of the game. We appreciated that the game was evolving as we were playing and at times felt like a race against time.There’s different objectives that you need to surpass, and we enjoyed how the website is used to unlock the next stages. The optional objectives are also fun and prolonged our play time for a few more hours.I would enjoy understanding how long the time it took us to crack the main case - around 5 hours - compares with other players. Were we above or under average?Saw a discount code at the end, where can I buy more cases?

I bought this game as an activity for my partner and me to do during her lockdown birthday. The pack is well organized and comes with envelopes to open at different stages of the game, suspects files, interviews, newspaper pieces, autopsy reports, a map and a few other bits and pieces. You need to log in to specific links online to check your answers at different stages of the game.It took us approximately 2 hours to complete the game and we enjoyed it very much. It makes you pay attention to details and think slightly outside of the box. Frankly, most of the case wasn't super hard but it was slightly frustrating that the online form was looking for very specific answers and didn't accept variations of the correct answer (e.g. if an abbreviation was used). Highly recommended game and series, slightly overpriced in my opinion.

My mum is a huge true crime fan. It’s all she watches on TV & she is the reason I too watch so much true crime. She gave me the bug. For Mother’s Day I wanted to get her something different & fun that we could do together in the lock down. So I purchased this. We had a blast figuring it out & realising we aren’t as good as detectives as we thought we would be! We have repackaged it ready for when Christmas comes & my grandparents come to visit for them to try & figure it out. We will definitely be looking for another one of these in the future to do together too!

What an amazing game!!Bought it to play with my boyfriend during quarantine and it kept us super entertained and excited for a couple evenings. We really liked how realistic the case looks and we would definitely suggest it to anyone that wants to spend a different time with family or friends feeling like a real agent!Will definitely be buying again once more cases are available!

I loved this. Admittedly I solved it in one night but that was down to me not giving up. It did take me around 5 hours. I can see it would be great for a party of guests or as a family game. Perfect for those who like a challenge and like puzzles.

This was a great activity. Between five of us it took approximately two hours to solve the case. There was plenty of material, all very well thought out. Can't wait to do another.

By far the easiest murder mystery game I have played. It took my partner and I under 1.5 hours to solve this and we thought the ending was quite underwhelming. It passed time but a lot of others are more thought through.
