Love the F A Hand Deprimer!!
The Hand Deprimer is another fine product from Frankford Arsenal. It is really well made, top of the line materials and construction!. It works well and is much easier than using my decapping die in my press. What can I say, I have also purchased their Case Tumbler, Scale and Case Prep Center. Ever product is really well made. Well done Frankford Arsenal!

Faster than my press
Simple to use. It is a little tough on your hands because the old primers can be hard to release, but it works well. It saves alot of time over using my press

Great quality, easy to use and very sturdy. I would highly recommend if you reload
This is a great product for reloading. It's simple to use, works fast and not only looks sturdy but feels it also. I've used it now for two years. Either pop out the spent primers into the garage or use the sturdy plastic tube to catch them. You literally can use it in the livingroom watching TV. It's a quiet and clean way to deprime your brass before cleaning or after to size the brass. Great to have next to the reloading counter incase you need to quickly get a primer out that's not seated well without having to put it through the resizing die again

Good product make cleaning cases so much easier
It seems to work, and everything is sturdy except for the plastic part. Additionally, the plastic piece does not store on the tool as advertised and tends to fall off. The grip is comfortable, and it looks nice except for the previously mentioned issue.

Heck of a robust tool. and solid metal.
Normally, I decap cases on the press with a dedicated decapping die which necessitates a lot of extra movement and die changes. This tool works as described and even removes heavy crimped in primers in NATO cases. It's all metal as well except for the collets which are plastic but I don't see any issue with that either as all they do is align the case with the decapping pin so they don't have to be extremely tight. So long as the case slides in, all is good. It does take some force to remove heavy crimped in primers but the tool is up to the job, so long as your hand is as well. Requires a hard squeeze so your hand gets needed exercise at the same time and it's ambidextrous as well so right hand or left hand don't matter. As others have stated, the collets won't stay attached to the tool, they fall off which is no big deal for me as they will be kept in the box with my dedicated decapping die and unlike others, I have no issue with the primer catcher coming off, you just need to seat it fully in the tool and it goes nowhere. All in all, this is a good, well thought out tool that makes decapping much easier and quicker than press depriming. Can sit in my recliner and decap cases. Heck of a plan. Don't think for a second that reloading is just for the younger set. I'm 74 and I've been building all my handloads for rifles and handguns for about 35 years now and I've amassed quite a bit of reloading tools and accessories and this tool is a welcome edition. It also provides my 75 year old somewhat arthritic hands, needed squeezing exercise so it accomplishes 2 required tasks, it deprimes spent cases for reloading and it exercises my stiff fingers....lol

Very Good Tools
This is a beautiful depriming tool. Sturdy, but lightweight, easy on the hand, and it just always works. Always. I like my bench in the garage, but I also like being warm in the house with the TV. As for the scale, which I also bought, after it was calibrated, it is accurate to within what looks like .0025, as far as I can tell... which is plenty safe and accurate for my use as a verification of volume dispensed smokeless powder Both tools are worth the money. I just deprimed 300 cases watching the first half of the Sunday Night Football game without having to take my eyes off the TV.

Efficient enough, good price, works as it should!
Read through all the reviews regarding this product. Received it today and deprimed a few hundred rounds each of 45 acp and 9mm luger with no issues. I can see how the primer catch tube might be an issue popping out if worn, mine fit pretty snug. During use I checked occassionally to make sure it wasnt about to pop loose and spill, and I never found it about to do so. This is a total manual piece, from insering the shell, to squeezing the lever operated depriming mechanism, to removing the shell by hand once deprimed, It does work as advertized though and seems to be well built and sturdy. I believe the weak link will turn out to be the collets, as they are rubber/plastic parts that I am pretty sure are going to wear with use. 3 collets come with it, and the pieces are not impressive, pretty disappointed at their build quality; that being said the unit worked as advertized on the brass Ive deprimed thus far. I didnt experience any decapping pin sticking in small primer holes, no issues there. The Lee Precision Pin 90783 presumably works with this unit and I ordered one to go with it as a back up. This unit works well or off the press depriming and after a few rounds it actually is pretty efficient and quick. The operating mechanisms of this unit are smooth and tolerances decent enough that I have confidence in the unit for its intended purposes. I hope replacement bushings are available, I am sure they would be. The instructions are ok, they do the job. Overall pleased. Frankford Arsenal is putting out cost effective products for the lower budgeted end user, I have several products from them, and they thus far all work as they should with no abnormal compromises; vebratory tumbler, media separator/tumbler, digital scale, loading blocks. I am giving this 5 stars not because it is a top of the line product, but because it is fairly well built, priced right, and operates as it should.

Works great!
LOVE this thing. There is an art to using it, but once dialed in it is awesome for "zoned out decapping while watching TV"! It decaps 9mm, .38/.357 and .40/10mm with ease. I used it on crappy, muddy range brass and after a good wash, I started decapping. The "little plastic finger" collet adapter, of the appropriate size (there are 3, sm, med. , and lg.) is inserted and away you go. You will be tempted to run the collet tighter than it needs to be, leave a HAIR of slop to put the casing in it AND roll it around to be sure the decapping pin is IN the flash hole and squeeze. Going through a 1000 rounds of grungy brass was quite a workout, so don't overdo it! LoL NOTE: These little plastic collet fingers are what makes it work, BUT they are "little PLASTIC collet finger thingies" and they will wear out eventually. I have done 3000 rds but the cleaner the range brass is, the longer they should last. I haven't worn mine out yet, but I have ordered two more sets.... cuz Murphy!!! The only bad thing is that the medium collet will be the one MOST people will use (and wear out), and they only come from the manufacturer in sets of .... sm., med., and lg,!!! Soooo you will have a lot of smalls and larges laying around. That said, the thing is awesome. Is it as fast as sitting in your garage, shop, man cave at a press running the cases through a decapping station... NO, but you are on autopilot watching TV while you do it. Like watching TV and shelling peas or folding laundry... whatever. Take your time, set it up and get a "process" going, and decap brass. I decap my brass so I can wet tumble it with cleaner and stainless steel pins. If you don't remove the spent primers you will "tumble weld" (with the steel pins) the primers in the cases and ruin them!!! I just finished another 1000 this afternoon.... wonderful item, well made... does the job! Does a great job!!!

Works with everything
This works excellent. You can easily set it for whatever you're depriming, with the obvious exception of Berdan primed casings. Pointing it down lets the casing fall out, which makes the job a bit faster.
