Makes for excellent camp food
This is ready to eat packaged food. I don’t expect home or hotel quality, and it lived up to its expectations and more. This is great from a camping point of view. The flavour was all right. Not too shabby. And not bad. Will I be able to survive in the mountains with this, yes! Serves for two. Light meal. Cooking time, not too long. Three minutes or less. Just take an onion and flavour it up.

Tastes weird, smells bad
It's mix dal not dal makhni. Tastes weird and smells weird maybe due to chemicals. Not to buy again. Beter to buy Gitz dal makhni.

Anybody who wishes to try it can go ahead because Dal Makhni is one of the best MTR offering. It is tasty as hell but for health considerations I wouldn't recommend regular consumption. It maybe had with chapati, rice or even bread. Easy to make too (instructions are given on the back).

This is ready to eat meal, you can't expect home or restaurant made taste and flavor. It is best for camping , hiking and survival emergency meal. Having such a wonderful option is appreciated. Price can be little cheaper.
